    Young actor Naga Chaitanya right after his wedding started shooting for his next film which has been titled Savyasachi. Chandoo Mondeti is the director of the film and Chaitu is all set to surprise the audience with his dare devil stunts in the film. The film will have six major action episodes which are the film’s major highlights. Chaitu is playing a youngster with some exceptional abilities in the film.

    The makers invested huge amounts on the action episodes and Nidhhi Agerwal is the female lead.     Former heroine Bhumika has joined the bandwagon of actresses who are making a mark with prominent roles in their second innings. The Khushi actress, who played sister-in-law to Nani in the latest release, MCA, is in game for more meaty roles of her age in South Indian films.

    Speaking to a leading news magazine, Bhumika revealed that she is playing a cameo in Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film Savyasachi which has Chandoo Mondeti at the helm. She will be seen in a brief yet interesting role along with Madhavan who is essaying a crucial role in the film. She didn’t want to kill the suspense by revealing her role in Savyasachi, but said it will be good one to portray.

    Bhumika’s act in MCA is being received well by audience and critics alike.

    Madhavan wraps schedule of ‘Savyasachi’

    Actor R. Madhavan has wrapped schedule of the upcoming Telugu film “Savyasachi”.

    Madhavan on Saturday shared a photograph with the entire team from the film’s set.

    “Schedule wrap on the sets of ‘Savyasachi’. What an awesome super sweet team,” he captioned the image.

    This will be Madhavan’s first Telugu appearance in a full-length role. He has played a cameo in 2010 Telugu film “Om Shanti”.

    The film is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and also stars Naga Chaitanya in the lead role. “Savyasachi” marks the second time collaboration of Mondeti and Naga Chaitanya after last year’s “Premam”.

    Actress Nidhhi Agerwal, who made her Bollywood debut with “Munna Michael” earlier this year, will be seen as an innocent and independent girl in the film.

    Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is back on the shooting floors after talking a break for his marriage with Samantha. He is now busy shooting for an interesting film titled as Savyasachi, which marks his second collaboration with Premam ( Telugu) director Chandoo Mondeti.     Tamil star Madhavan is returning to Tollywood after a long hiatus with a prominent role in this film. A source in the known revealed that Madhavan’s role will have grey shades and the confrontation scenes between him and Chaitu will be the major highlight for the film. The source adds that it will be a faceoff between two people, played by Chaitu and Madhavan, with contrasting qualities ( Good Vs Bad).

    Nidhhi Agerwal role in Savyasachi

    Actress Nidhhi Agerwal, who made her Bollywood debut with “Munna Michael” earlier this year, says she will be seen as an innocent and independent girl in her upcoming Telugu film “Savyasachi”.

    “‘Savyasachi’ is an action romantic film and I’m getting to work with some very nice people. I play the role of a simple girl who’s very innocent and independent,” Nidhhi said in a statement.

    “So, it’s not so glamorous like ‘Munna Michael’. It’s fun, actually, to play a contrasting role. The Telugu industry and their scripts are extremely nice. I’ve noticed that Hindi films do well in the north, but they don’t do that well in the south. But, I want everything! I want the north and the south,” she added.

    “Savyasachi”, which also stars R. Madhavan and Naga Chaitanya, has been directed by Chandoo Mondeti.

    Niddhi, who comes from a non-filmy background, says she had “a lot of struggle” becoming an actress.

    “But, I think that if you have a difficult dream then there will be struggle. In my head, I was prepared that the journey is going to be very difficult, but it is what I want. During difficult times, I never complain because it will be there and I know that.

    “I accepted that it would be very difficult to become an actor and it’s even tougher once you become an actor. When you’re in the process of becoming an actor, you think that you just need to get that one film. But once you get that one film, the stress increases. So yes, a lot of struggle, a lot of loneliness sometimes self-doubt also,” she said.

    Directed by Sabbir Khan, “Munna Michael”, which also featured Tiger Shroff, will be aired on &pictures on Saturday.

    Mahesh Babu recently faced biggest disaster of his career in the form of SPYder movie. While there are so many reasons for this movie becoming flop – like wrong title, setting wrong expectation, no heroism, miscasting , loop holes in story , screenplay etc, there is also one issue at the core of all this and now there are doubts whether Naga Chaitanya repeating the same mistake.

    Naga Chaitanya currently doing movie in the direction of Chandu Mondeti which is titled “Savyasachi”. For this movie they are considering Madhavan by offering him 4 crores and this amount might be more than Naga Chaitanya’s remuneration. They are planning to do bilingual to recover that high budget and to cash on Madhavan’s craze in Hindi.

    But the mistake that the SPYder team did is – to make it a bilingual and satisfy the sensibilities of both Telugu and Tamil audience. But what resulted is this. There is a saying in Hindi – “Dhobhi ka kutta , na ghar kaa, na ghaat kaa” which means washer man’s dog belong to neither the house nor the ghat. So the film couldn’t satisfy audience of both the languages. If they had sincerely stick to the script and fixed the loop holes in screen play probably it may work. There are many movies that were hits in more than one or 2 languages. But in the name of bilingual, if the makers try to “add” the elements to satisfy the audience, the result is always a big boomerang.

    Hope Chandu Mondeti’s decision to take Madhavan and make it a bilingual doesn’t dilute or modify the script just for the sake of bilingual and makers stick to their script and prove successful bilingual movies could also be made!!!

    Mythri movie makers, the production banner, that entered Tollywood with a blockbuster like “Srimanthudu” seems to have changed it’s track. So far they have made the movies like “Srimanthudu”, Janatha Garage” and yet to release “Ranga Sthalam”.

    Mythri movies used to tell to the industry folks that they will make movies only with top 5 directors and top 5 heroes. In fact this is what they did – they gave advances to top heroes and top directors. Koratala, Sukumar, Mahesh, NTR and Ram Charan – these guys are all on top league.

    But now they seem to have compromised or to put in other words, “they seem to have changed their track”. They are currently doing “Savyasachi” movie with Naga chaitanya in the direction of Chandu – and both of these guys are not in top league, at least for now. In another interesting development, now they gave the director Sandeep of Arjun Reddy, an advance of INR 50 lakhs. Of course, there is nothing wrong to make small movies or to work with small or medium range heroes and directors. In fact it is a good sign. But only thing, the makers themselves used to boast of themselves as the production banner that works only with top league heroes and directors.

    Hope, they will give similar blockbusters with the small/ medium range heroes and directors too

    Music maestro MM Keeravani is very choosy about his projects after Baahubali.     After a lot of deliberation, Keeravani has signed the first project after Baahubali. It is learnt that the young starlet, who made her acting debut with a Bollywood film, had the narration recently and sounded optimistic. However, she is yet to sign the dotted line. Close sources say that she is mostly like to take call in a week or two.

    Credit it to the confidence given by the success of their first two production ventures (Srimanthudu and Janatha Garage) or the faith in the combo of Naga Chaitanya and director Chandoo Mondeti, Mythri Movie Makers is sort of gambling with ‘Savyasachi’.

    Mythri Movie Makers, who are bankrolling Ram Charan’s ‘Rangasthalam’ as their third production venture, have recently announced their 4th film, ‘Savyasachi’. Chandoo of ‘Kartikeya’ and ‘Premam’ fame will direct this film, which is touted to be a taut thriller, starring Naga Chaitanya in lead role.

    Our sources have divulged that the budget of the film is 27 crore to start with. And, it is likely to shot up to Rs 30 crore by the time the film gets wrapped up, thus making it the highest budgeted film in Chaitu’s career. Isn’t Mythri taking a risk by investing such high budget on Chaitu, who has only one Rs 25+ crore (Ra Randoi Veduka Cheddam, which ended up somewhere around 26 crore) worldwide share movie to his credit?

    Actually, another NRI producer had the dates of Naga Chaitanya and he was supposed to produce Chaitu-Chandoo Mondeti combo project. He however backed off after the director quoted close to 30 crore budget. He was unsure about the Akkineni hero’s ability of recovering such high budget.

    The title and title poster nonetheless look extremely promising. Mythri might be having huge confidence in Chandoo’s script and Chaitu’s steadily growing stardom.

    Young actor Naga Chaitanya has been signing interesting films after the super success of Premam and Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam. The actor is teaming up again with Chandoo Mondeti after Premam and the film has been titled Savyasachi. The film’s title and the logo have been announced today and the regular shoot of Savyasachi will start from September. The female lead and other cast, crew are currently being finalized.

    The title along with the logo have been quite interesting and Savyasachi has an interesting plot revealed Chandoo Mondeti. His upcoming release Yuddham Saranam is a crime thriller and it has been directed by Krishna RV Marimuthu. The movie has been announced for September 8th release.
