0

TDP president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Wednesday recalled the services of the party founder, the late NT Rama Rao, both to the film industry and the State as well.

Chandrababu Naidu, along with party state unit president, Atchen Naidu, and other senior leaders, paid rich tributes to the party founder NTR on his 27th death anniversary on Wednesday. Terming the Late NTR as a legendary actor, Chandrababu said that he has created history by forming the government within a few months of floating the TDP.

Chandrababu Naidu said that NTR accomplished greatest achievements and wherever Telugu people are living they really feel proud of their home State. “A person can excel only in one field, but NTR has gone to a very high level in the field of films and in politics,” Chandrababu said.

“I was the minister for Cinematography when he was in the film industry,” Chandrababu recalled and said that he first met NTR during the shooting of the film ‘Anuragadevatha’. NTR brought in radical transformation in politics, he said.

“NTR always treated the common man as his god and today women are excelling in various fields only because of the foundation laid by NTR,” Chandrababu observed.

Leaders like Yanamala Ramakrishnudu could become a member of the Cabinet as NTR took the decision to make the Backward Classes (BCs) as partners in the power. “NTR will always stand atop all the best chief ministers and best creator chief ministers in the country,” the TDP supremo remarked.

The welfare schemes like Single Window and Rs 2-a-kg rice scheme were launched during his regime and foundation was laid for several irrigation projects during NTR’s regime, he stated. “TDP always accords top priority to irrigation,” Chandrababu added.

The TDP supremo gave a call to build a poverty-free society in the State and the people should join hands to bid goodbye to this psycho rule. Observing that the coming elections are very crucial to the party and the State as well, Chandrababu Naidu said that the real tribute to NTR is only to serve society and work for realising his dreams.

“NTR’s son, Bala Krishna, is extending his services through the cancer hospital while Bhuvaneswari is serving the State through NTR Trust,” he said.

0

Lakshmi Parvathi, the widow of late NTR, on Wednesday, demanded that the CBI probe be ordered into the suspicious death of NTR’s daughter Umamaheswari. Speaking to media persons, Lakshmi Parvathi suspected the involvement of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh in the death of Umamaheswari.

She alleged that Chandrababu Naidu is the reason behind the deaths in the NTR family, including NTR. She said that NTR died because of the pain caused by Naidu’s action in getting court order seizing the bank accounts of the TDP and thus depriving NTR of using the party funds.

After NTR, the death of Hari Krishna in the family too was suspicious and alleged that Chandrababu Naidu caused severe pain to Hari Krishna before his death. She recalled how Hari Krishna was denied due role both in the party and the government.

She said that Chandrababu Naidu had also used Hari Krishna’s daughter Suhasini for his political advantage and threw her out as she could not deliver. She also said that Naidu had used Junior NTR and threw him away.

Now, she said that Naidu and his son Lokesh were behind the death of Umamaheswari. She wanted to know where Umamaheswari’s suicide note had gone. She said that Naidu had misplaced late Dr Kodela Sivaprasada Rao’s mobile in the past and Umamaheswari’s suicide letter now.

Lakshmi Parvathi advised the NTR family members to understand the real face of Chandrababu Naidu and come out of his clutches. She also alleged that the Nara family was destroying the Nandamuri family and wanted Nandamuri family members to realise the real face of Chandrababu Naidu.

Lakshmi Parvathi asked Chandrababu Naidu to demand for CBI probe into the death of Umamaheswari if his hands are clean.

Chandrababu will not let NTR get Bharat Ratna: Kodali Nani

1

Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies minister and firebrand Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Kodali Sri Venkateshwara Rao on Tuesday said Telugu Desam Party (TDP) supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu will not let the late NT Rama Rao receive the prestigious Bharat Ratna award.

“At Mahanadu, they claim that NTR should be given Bharat Ratna but in proper format they never give this demand. Did Naidu take a cabinet decision that NTR should be given Bharat Ratna?” questioned Rao, who is popularly known as Kodali Nani.

He said Naidu doesn’t even ask for that award to NTR in the capacity of TDP supremo and alleged that he suspended NTR from the party and grabbed his chief minister’s seat.

“As long as Naidu is alive, he will not let NTR receive Bharat Ratna because he is the first enemy of NTR,” alleged Rao.

Rao also did not mince words in criticizing Naidu and alleging that he was responsible for the death of NTR.

The YSRCP leader noted that in the event of Bharat Ratna being given to NTR, technically it will be received by his wife Lakshmi Parvathy as she is alive.

“When a husband wins Bharat Ratna, the award will be given to his wife not to daughters, sons or sons-in-law. That means Lakshmi Parvathy will go and receive the Bharat Ratna award, which he (Naidu) doesn’t like. So that’s why he never proposes to anyone to give Bharat Ratna to NTR,” claimed Rao.

Other than merely repeating this wish at the death anniversary, he said Naidu doesn’t do anything beyond on this matter.

Conferring the award on NTR is a longtime demand of his supporters and admirers across the state.

Naidu is the son-in-law of NTR

TDP honoured Ambedkar with Bharat Ratna: Naidu

0

Former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu paid glowing tributes to Dr BR Ambedkar on the occasion of his jayanthi celebrations across the country. He recalled how the Telugu Desam Party under the leadership of its founder NT Rama Rao honored Ambedkar in 1990 with the Bharat Ratna, the country’s highest civilian award. NTR was the National Front Chairman at that time.

Wishing the people for his jayanthi, Mr. Naidu said that in accordance with Ambedkar’s ideals, the TDP has given top priority to Dalits in educational, employment and political opportunities. The previous TDP government allocated Rs. 54,621 cr for Dalit welfare in its five budgets.

Mr. Naidu asserted that to cherish Ambedkar ideals among future generations, the TDP allotted 25 acres in Amaravati Capital City for erecting a 125-ft Memorial Statue. SC reservations in employment promotions were implemented. Through SC Finance Corporation, thousands of crores were sanctioned for helping 3 lakh Dalit boys and girls. Real tribute to Amedkar would be by achieving economic self-sufficiency for Dalits. Ambedkar Videshi Vidya Nidhi was begun to give Rs. 15 lakh assistance for SC students going for foreign studies.

Mr. Naidu said that thanks to the Constitution framed by Ambedkar, justice is being done to the poorer sections of society now and his ideals focused on creating an egalitarian society with equality, freedom and fraternity breaking free of divisive casteism. The TDP strove for erecting Ambedkar bronze statue in the Parliament. During the TDP rule in combined AP, Justice Punnaiah Commission was appointed in 2003 for welfare and development of SCs and STs.

KCR says he did what Late NTR could not do!

0

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at public address on Wednesday recalled an incident on formation of districts during his political his stint with TDP under Late N T Rama Rao regime.

KCR reminisced that after losing 1982 elections, when NTR was going to Karimnagar via Siddipet, the TRS supremo along with TSIIC chairman G Balamallu and few other friends drew the map of the district.

They halted the convoy of the then Chief Minister at Ambedkar statue near Siddipet bus stand and KCR himself handed over the map to NTR. KCR and friends requested the creation of Siddipet district as it was troublesome to travel to Sangareddy. Later, NTR announced that Mancherial will be made a district. Both the districts did not transpire until Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao tookover.

He noted that in India, only West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh never created new districts, but after the formation of Telangana, TRS declared 31districts for administrative purposes exactly a year ago on 11October2016.

KCR who visited Siddipet district laid foundation stones for construction of Integrated Collectorate, Police Commissionerate and Medical College.
