Telugu actor Mahesh Babu, who was last seen in ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, will be joining the sets of his much-anticipated upcoming movie ‘SSMB28’ soon.

The ‘SSMB28’ shoot is set to begin in July, and the shooting schedules are currently being finalised.

Mahesh Babu, who is currently vacationing in Germany with his family, will return soon to join Trivikram Srinivas and the rest of the cast.

Trivikram, who has apparently joined Mahesh in Germany, is said to have discussed the final alterations in the script work.

A high-octane action thriller is expected from this untitled project.

Expectations are high because this is Trivikram Srinivas and Mahesh Babu’s second collaboration after ‘Khaleja’.

Pooja Hegde, who starred in ‘Radhe Shyam’, will star alongside Mahesh Babu in this film.

After ‘Maharshi,’ Pooja has been brought in to work alongside Mahesh for the second time. Thaman will compose the soundtrack, and the film’s cast includes a number of well-known actors.

The makers of ‘SSMB28’ will apparently reveal the film’s first look and title in a big way.

Director Trivikram Srinivas, who recently worked on the ‘Bheemla Nayak’ screenplay and dialogues, has apparently secured an interesting title for Mahesh’s ambitious project.

‘SSMB28’ is Mahesh and Trivikram’s second collaboration after ‘Khaleja’, which was released in 2011. This will be Mahesh Babu’s 28th film, and hence the working title.

Pooja Hegde has been cast in the film as the leading lady. She is collaborating with Mahesh for the second time, following the critically acclaimed ‘Maharshi’.

The film starts rolling soon and this prestigious project is announced for summer 2022 release across the globe. Mahesh Babu fans expected the details of the cast, crew of the film along with the announcement but they are yet to be finalized. There are several speculations about the music director but the makers did not reveal the details. Thaman composed the background score for the released video byte that came out with the announcement.

A section of media speculated that Manisharma is on board as the music composer. He was the one who composed music for Athadu and Khaleja. But Thaman is the music director locked for the third combination of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram. The makers will announce this along with the name of the leading lady on May 31st marking Superstar Krishna’s birthday. The regular shoot commences once Mahesh is done with the shoot of Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Haarika and Hassine Creations are the producers. Trivikram is currently giving the final touches for the script.
