Sudheer Varma to direct Pawan Kalyan

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is on a signing spree and he is busy with a bunch of projects. His close friend and top director Trivikram is setting up new projects for the top actor. After the super success of Bheemla Nayak, Pawan and Trivikram are collaborating once again. Sudheer Varma will direct the project and the shoot commences next year. Pawan Kalyan and Vaisshnav Tej will play the lead roles in this interesting project.

Trivikram will pen the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film. Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas are the producers. The female lead and the other actors, technicians are finalized. The makers will make an official announcement soon. Pawan will resume the shoot of Hari Hara Veera Mallu and he will commence the shoot of Vinodhaya Sitham remake soon. He also signed Bhavadeeyudu Bhagath Singh to be directed by Harish Shankar.

Riding on the success of two back to back hits – Swamy Ra Ra and Keshava- the success combination of director Sudheer Varma and actor Nikhil are coming together for the third time.

BVSN Prasad of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner will bankroll this film, which is the banner’s 32nd venture, on a lavish budget. Richard Prasad will take care of cinematography and Karthik will be in charge of the music department.

Billed to be an action entertainer, shooting for the movie will commence on November 1. The shoot will happen for 40 days in London, circles close to the movie’s team say.

It is learnt that Sudheer Varma has come up with a racy script. More details about the project, including the remaining members of its cast and crew, are likely to be made soon.

The latest news is that Sudheer Varma has been finalized to direct the project and the regular shoot commences during the end of 2020. The script work of the project is currently happening and Nithiin’s home banner Sreshth Movies are the producers.

Nithiin is busy wrapping Bheeshma and Rang De. He will then join the sets of Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s film and he has Powerpet with Krishna Chaitanya. More details about Andhadhun remake will be made official soon.

On the eve of Sharwa’s birthday ( March 6), the makers of this film have unveiled a poster in which he is seen sporting a thick beard in a stylish avatar. Sharwanand’s impressive makeover as don will be one of the highlights for this film. The title will be announced shortly. The shooting formalities are nearing completion and the makers are planning to release it in May this year.

Kajal Aggarwal and Kalyani Priyadarshini are the female leads. Sitara Entertainments banner is bankrolling the film.

No truth in rumours about Sharwanand – Sudheer Varma film

Young hero Sharwanand is simultaneously working on two projects. While Hanu Raghavapudi’s Padi Padi Leche Vayasu has wrapped up shooting formalities, his film with Sudheer Varma has completed good portion of talkie part.

Recently, a section of media reported that Sudheer Varma’s film is getting delayed due to multiple reshoots and the reports further claimed that Sharwanand is unhappy with the output and requested the director to take his own time to rework on the script.

Sources close to the production house have quashed these rumours and said that there is no truth in reshoot news. The source further revealed that the film’s shoot is delayed due to the postponement of abroad schedule. As per the team’s plan , the untitled film was supposed to be shot in Korea. But, due to extreme weather conditions, the schedule has been temporarily deferred. This is the reason why the shoot has been delayed.

Once the team finalises the dates for the foreign schedule, the shoot will resume immediately. The film has Kalyani Priyadarshini as the female lead. Sitara Entertainments banner is bankrolling this project.

Hello heroine signs second film ?

Kalyani, daughter of well known director Priyadarshan, made her silver screen debut with Akhil starrer Hello. Kalyani received good appreciation for her lovely screen presence in the film. Though the film didn’t succeed commercially, Kalyani is getting some interesting offers.

Now, it is learnt that the young starlet has been approached for the second female lead’s role in Sharwanand’s next film. Director Sudheer Varma felt that Kalyani could bring in the freshness needed for the character he designed. She is likely to sign the dotted line soon.

Initially the makers have approached Nithya Menon for the role. But, the talks didn’t negotiate due to remuneration issues.

Sources close to Sharwanand revealed that Sudheer Varma was asked to make changes to the script and the final draft is not yet completed. As the director is taking his own time to fine tune the script, the film might get delayed by a few more months. In the meantime, Sharwanand will kick start the shooting for Hanu’s film very soon in Nepal.

Sai Pallavi is likely to be the female lead in Hanu’s film.

Decent start for Keshava in overseas

Actor Nikhil’s latest offering Keshava, which opened amidst a lot of positive buzz, took a decent start at the box office in all areas of its release. The revenge drama, directed by Sudheer Varma, registered good opening day figures in Telugu states and overseas.

From its Thursday premiers in USA, Keshava notched up a decent $ 56 K from 95 locations. This is the biggest ever opening in Nikhil’s career. His last outing EPC fetched $ 24K from its premiers. This is a very promising start for Keshava and the first weekend will be very crucial to decide the fate of the buyers.

Despite a slender storyline and a half-baked second half, the gripping narration and the impressive performances helped the film garner a decent talk from audience. Cinematography remained the biggest asset for the film.

Two much awaited trailers to release today

As the Baahubali storm slows down slightly, a bunch of medium budget films gear up to test their luck at the box office. Nikhil’s Keshava and Naga Chaitanaya’s Ra Randoi Veduka Choodam are gearing up release in the next two weeks. Both these films are carrying good reports from inside sources. Pelli Choopulu fame Ritu Varma is the film’s leading lady. The film is slated to hit the screens on May 19th.
