AP Agriculture Minister, Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy came down hard on BJP party. Speaking to the media at TDP’s office, the minister stated that, Cabinet Ministers Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Sujana Chowdary resigned for the benefit of Andhra Pradesh.
‘Ministries are not important for TDP. Even in the past, as a party, we believed that the people’s interest is more important than anything else.
We never demanded any ministries because we are the second largest partner (in terms of MPs) in NDA alliance. Neither had we recommended any personnel for governor post.
At least now the Centre should take a proper decision in regards to the AP Special Status. The BJP-led NDA government is trying to make the 14th Finance Commission as the scapegoat in this issue.

TDP Politburo meeting has been scheduled to take place on 11th March 2018. The meeting will be chaired by TDP party president Chandrababu Naidu. Chandrababu Naidu is expected to shortlist the ‘Rajya Sabha Candidates’ list. Additionally, TDP leaders are likely to take a decision, on whether to continue in NDA alliance or not.
