Jana sena chief Pawan Kalyan made sensational comments during the meeting on the occasion of party foundation day. He has announced that he will go on a hunger strike if required to achieve a special category status for Andhra Pradesh.
He opined, fast-unto-death is needed to achieve Special category status for the state. He added, he will first discuss the action plan with CPM and CPI leaders. While talking about package vs special category status, he remarked self-esteem is more important than money. He made scathing comments against Arun Jaitley for ditching Andhra Pradesh.
Talking about organizing student or people movements in the state for achieving special category status, he said students have to study well, get jobs and support their families. So he will not encourage any sort of self scarification from these youngsters. Pawan told, whatever sacrifices or hunger strikes needed, he will do it on his own and asked youngsters to focus on their studies and careers. He asked the Central Government to take a responsible decision in this regard. Pawan told, he will take the movement forward with the inspiration of Potti Sriramulu.
However, he did not announce when he will do hunger strike or where he will do that. We have to wait for further updates on this from Pawan
