It is well known that CM Jaganmohan Reddy is still preferring to stay at his Hyderabad Lotus Pond residence during the weekends. That is what his main home is. There were also reports that he would be mostly staying at Hyderabad every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. During this period, KCR-Jagan meetings are happening now and then where they are settling long-pending Reorganisation Act issues. Analysts ask whether this will bring justice to the cause of Andhra people.
Already, there is criticism that Jagan has given away AP assets in Secretariat on a golden platter to Telangana. There were no official detailed discussions and no clarity what AP got in return. Today, KCR-Jagan meeting is happening once again in Hyderabad in which Chief Secretaries, Ministers and officials of both states are taking part.
Is Jagan setting any preconditions for resolving reorganisation problems? Interestingly, KCR is making plans for the AP irrigation projects. Only KCR is giving an audio-visual presentation on river water prospects of both states. Today’s meeting is stated to be a more elaborate one. Many more issues are coming up like taking Godavari waters to Srisailam, division of electricity organisations and their employees and division of 9th and 10th schedule institutions. If Team Jagan is not careful, greater injustice will be done to AP.
