During a recent teleconference with TDP MLAs and MPs, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu gave a strong message: “Don’t remain one-time MLAs.” He warned party leaders not to become overconfident and reminded them that public welfare should be their only priority.
Nara Chandrababu Naidu said he is closely watching everyone’s performance and already has detailed reports. He made it clear that anyone who strays from the right path will face consequences. “People are observing every move, don’t take voters for granted,” he warned.
The Andhra Pradesh government announced that the performance of MLAs and MPs will be reviewed every six months, and only those who serve sincerely will get bigger opportunities in the party. He appreciated the majority of leaders who are working well, but pointed out that a few are causing damage with careless behaviour.
He added that face-to-face meetings will be held soon with each MLA to assess their work directly.
Marking one year of the TDP government, Chandrababu revealed plans for a large gathering with 2,000 attendees on June 12 in Amaravati. He instructed leaders to clearly explain to the public what the government has achieved in one year and to promote TDP’s welfare schemes.
He also ordered that the formation of all TDP party committees should be completed by next month. He emphasized making the “Yogadanam” initiative a grand success, as it is one of the government’s top priorities.
Overall, Chandrababu’s teleconference was not just about advice, it was filled with clear warnings and expectations. He made it clear: only disciplined, people-focused leaders will have a future in the party.
