Lokesh Kanagaraj’s superhero film with Aamir Khan was shelved after Coolie received poor response. The talented Tamil director has decided to go ahead with Khaithi 2.

The latest speculations say that the film too is kept on hold because of the creative differences between Karthi and Lokesh Kanagaraj. Karthi has waited for years to start Khaithi 2 but Lokesh Kanagaraj had priorities and he worked with top stars like Vijay and Rajinikanth. The shoot of Khaithi 2 was pushed. Now when, Lokesh Kanagaraj had no options other than Khaithi 2, the project is in trouble. The real reasons are not disclosed and the project is now on hold. More details awaited.
