Ever since the shoot of Varanasi directed by SS Rajamouli started, there are lot of rumors about the runtime and the film being released in two parts. In an exclusive interview, SS Rajamouli made it clear that the film will release in a single part and it will not have any second instalment. Rajamouli said that they considered making the film in two parts but they dropped the idea soon. The film will have a runtime of three hours, confirmed Rajamouli.

The shoot of the film is happening at a fast pace in Hyderabad now and the upcoming schedules of the film will take place in Georgia and Antarctica. Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran are the lead actors in Varanasi, a mythological action drama. The film is slated for April 7th, 2027 release across the globe in theatres. Keeravani scores the music and KL Narayana is the producer of this big-budget attempt.
