Legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam and actor Ram Charan are in talks from a long time to collaborate for an action entertainer. Few weeks back, it was speculated in the media that the project has been shelved. But, reports suggest that Mani Ratnam has met Charan recently in Hyderabad to discuss about the script.
It is learnt that the project is definitely on cards and will roll out once Charan wraps his flick with Sukumar which is currently on floors. Reportedly, Mani Ratnam has roped Aravind Swamy to play an important role in the film which carries the narrative forward. Yodha is said to be the title which is under consideration for this film.
Mani Ratnam is currently giving final touches to the script and the formal launch will take place in a few months.
