High Court, as noted in its previous hearing in June, issued verdict on the Sadavarti Satram lands in Chennai. Mangalagiri YSRCP MLA Alla Rama Krishna Reddy, has accepted the offer to pay 5crore rupees including the loan amount. It provided flexibility to the petitioner of making the payment of 27crore 44lakh rupees in two installments. In the first installment, the YSRCP MLA has to pay Rs 10crore and within a timeframe of two weeks, the rest of the money should be paid. Ramakrishna Reddy informed the court that he doesn’t have that much money to pay but would rather make the disbursement through his party.
Andhra Pradesh Endowment Minister Manikyala Rao welcomed the court’s verdict and said that the government will be get additional income of Rs 5crore. He deplored that YSRCP made baseless allegations in the assembly and iterated that the auction was upheld by the High Court. He requested the YSRCP MLA to adhere to the Court’s judgment.
