Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma created enough sensation with the trailer of Lakshmi’s NTR. The film’s trailer clocked millions of views and a section of audience are eagerly waiting for the film’s release. With weeks passing, the makers are yet to announce the official release date of Lakshmi’s NTR. Going into the news, Telugu360 came to know that the film failed to impress the trade and the theatrical rights are yet to be sold.
Considering the dull season, the track record of RGV and the poor show of the recent biopics, the makers of Lakshmi’s NTR received no interesting deals. Couple of buyers have shown interest in the film but the quotes have been quite low and the makers are yet to close the business deal. Hence, the release date of Lakshmi’s NTR is yet to be announced. There are even speculations that the film lacks interesting content and all the exciting episodes are shown in the trailer itself.
Ram Gopal Varma on the other side took his twitter handle saying that there are speculations about the distribution rights and posted the contact number of the producer Rakesh Reddy. This may be a new trick to sell the theatrical rights of Lakshmi’s NTR.
