Mega fans are in a happy space with back to back hit films in the form of Dhruva and Khaidi No 150. This Summer, they are in for a bigger treat as there is a healthy line up of ‘Mega’ movies in the next three months.
Pawan Kalyan‘s Katamarayudu, which is one of the eagerly awaited films this year, is going to kick start the Summer movie fest. Directed by Dolly, Katamarayudu is looking for release in the last week of March. Pawan is playing a hard core faction leader who fights for his love. Shruti Haasan is the film’s leading lady. The shooting of the film is nearing completion.
Allu Arjun‘s forthcoming film DJ – Duvvada Jagannadham is also in the Summer fray. The film’s shooting is progressing at a brisk pace and the makers have already confirmed that they are in plans for an April release. Directed by Harish Shankar, the film is tipped to be an out and out commercial entertainer. Pooja Hegde is the heroine. Dil Raju is producing the film.
Young and energetic Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej is awaiting the release of his upcoming film Winner. Sai is playing a fashion designer and Rakul Preet Singh will be seen as an athlete in the film. The post production activities are in going on at present and the film is tentatively scheduled for Feb end release. Gopichand Malineni is the director.
One more ‘Mega’ film that is getting ready to entertain the audience this Summer is Varun Tej’s Mister. A romantic comedy, Mister is being directed by Sreenu Vaitla and has Lavanya Tripathi and Hebah Patel as the female leads. The recently released teaser has garnered a good response from the audience. The shooting part is coming to an end and the film is likely to release in mid summer.
Megastar Chiranjeevi started this year with a bang and the rest of Mega heroes will be looking to dominate the box office this Summer.
