When a new heroine makes her entry in the glamour world, they will be given a tag depending upon the face features matching with already established heroines. In Telugu film industry Jr. Kajal tag is given to Mehrene Kaur Pirzada and she looks more like a younger sister to the senior heroine. When Mehrene wears western outfits she appears very similar to Kajal and unlike other actresses, she takes the tag as a compliment.
Mehrene is on cloud nine as she finished her hat trick hits in Tollywood at the box office and it a rare feat to be achieved in the industry. Post her first hit “Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha”, Mehrene signed six films in two days and sources said the offers are doubled but she is waiting to sign right projects.
We have already reported that Venkatesh is going to do an action drama movie with director Teja. Initially, Kajal was approached for female lead but due to date issues, she stepped out. As an alternative Mehrene who has familiar features of Kajal was reached out. In a couple of weeks, an official announcement will be made about complete casting added sources. If Mehrene agrees then this could be her first-star hero film which will add more weight to her career.
