PM Modi took strong objection to AP CM Chandrababu Naidu’s complaints against the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and other central agencies. Modi asked Naidu why he was so much afraid of the Central agencies like the CBI when he and his party leaders did not do any thing wrong. The PM criticised both Mamata Bennerjee and Naidu for banning the Central Bureau of Investigation to take up cases in their states.
Modi said he faced long hours of investigation and questioning by the officials of Special Investigation Team when he was the chief minister of Gujarat. Modi said the AP and West Bengal governments are suspecting and opposing all central organisations and they are also finding fault with the army, Supreme Court and all. The BJP leaders have begun attacking the allies of the Congress ahead of the coming elections.
Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley mocked at the leaders of Mahakutami and he asked who would be the main leader of this alliance being formed against the BJP. Jaitley asked whether Mamata Bennerjee, Chandrababu Naidu or Mayawati would become the leading force behind this anti-BJP front.
