Jupally Rameshwar Rao, My Home owner, put to rest the speculation that he is keen on entering into media industry.

Participating in Vemuri Radhakrishna’s Open Heart with RK on Sunday night, one of the highly successful Telugu businessmen, Rao said that he had toyed with the idea but dropped it consequently for which he is feeling happy.

For a question whether he wanted to enter into the media, Rao said: “Yes, we thought of it (anukunnaam) but it didn’t work out. Now we are not serious about it.”
Giving credence to rumours that My Home tried to buy an established television channel (reportedly TV-9), Rao said that he had realised the fact during the three month bargain period that this (media) is not our cup of tea. “Though investment is less, we realised that there will be 95 percent headaches in it,” he said adding that (not entering into the deal) was good for him.

Rao also made it clear that he is not inclined to enter into politics. “I got many offers. Six years ago Babu garu (TDP president N.Chandrababu Naidu) offered me. Honestly I am saying I am not interested in it,” he observed.
