Revanth Reddy said that he joined opposition party TDP in 2006 to fight for people’s issue and now again in 2017 for the same cause he is joining opposition party Congress. He showered praises on Sonia Gandhi and Chandrababu Naidu.
Revanth said that Sonia gave a separate state considering the hardships faced by Telangana people. He spoke at a meeting with key followers along with TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy at his residence in Hyderabad.
He recalled that KCR met Sonia Gandhi and after becoming Chief Minister, he backtracked on assurance of merging TRS with Congress. Moreover, he is not working in line with aspirations of Telangana people. He forgot about the students who participated in struggle.
Revanth repeatedly praised Chandrababu and said that he gave up on the idea of Prime Minister’s post for Andhra Pradesh. These praises on TDP supremo might not impact TPCC, due to the almost nonexistence of yellow party.
Revanth will be going to Delhi tomorrow and will be joining congress, in the presence of AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi.
