Nandamuri Balakrishna is racing ahead with three back-to-back hits Akhanda, Veerasimha Reddy and Bhagavanth Kesari. The veteran actor is shooting for Bobby’s mass entertainer and a major schedule got wrapped up recently. The film will have three heroines as per the buzz and Urvashi Rautela, Meenakshi Chaudhary are almost locked. The other lead actress will be finalised and the makers will announce the same soon.
As per the buzz, the team of Bobby has approached Tamannaah for a special song in the film and the talks are on. Tamannaah recently hiked her glamour and shot for several steamy scenes. The actress is also ready for item songs and the actress may soon feature beside Balakrishna in a special song. Sithara Entertainments are the producers of this mass entertainer that is made on a massive budget.
Nandamuri Balakrishna will soon join hands with Anil Ravipudi for a powerful entertainer and the shoot was planned to start this month. With the delay in the shoot of Veera Simha Reddy, the actor decided to push the schedules of Anil’s film for now. The film may start rolling after Sankranthi once Balayya is done with his commitments. Balakrishna is also busy with the shoot of Unstoppable 2 and it would be concluded in December. Mythri Movie Makers are the producers and Thaman is the music director. Veera Simha Reddy will clash with Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya. Anil Ravipudi is done with the entire scriptwork and he is occupied with the pre-production work of the film. Shine Screens will produce this mass entertainer. Thaman will compose the music. All the technicians and the actors are finalized. The makers will announce the details of the heroine very soon.
Akhanda is one of the biggest hits for Telugu cinema in 2021 and it gave the needed boost to exhibition industry after completing 50 days which is quite rare. During the recent celebrations, Boyapati himself confirmed that he has the idea for the sequel of Akhanda ready. As per the latest update, Boyapati Srinu will complete one more film and will join the work of Akhanda sequel. As per the update, the shoot of Akhanda 2 commences next year.
Meanwhile, Balakrishna will complete two projects: Gopichand Malineni’s film and Anil Ravipudi’s flick. Puri who wrapped up the entire work of Mehbooba is in plans to screen the film personally for Balakrishna. “The support I received from Balakrishna garu cannot be explained in words. No hero I worked with was much concerned as Balakrishna did. So I am in plans to screen Mehbooba specially for Balayya garu” revealed Puri.
Balakrishna is currently working for VV Vinayak’s movie after which he will start shooting for NTR’s biopic. Puri is in plans to direct Balakrishna once the actor wraps up all these commitments.
Nandamuri Balakrishna stepped out to rescue veteran producer C Kalyan after a massive debacle like Inttelligent. Directed by VV Vinayak, Sai Dharam Tej played the lead role in Inttelligent. Now VV Vinayak too gave his nod to work with C Kalyan once again and he is busy with the pre-production work of the film. Balakrishna and Vinayak will be joining hands for the second time after Chennakesava Reddy.

The Hindupur MLA said that he will serve the Telugu Desham party as required and is not keen on adoring higher posts of being Chief Minister or Cabinet Minister. Due to his busy schedule trying to manage being an actor and politician, he is failing to give time to party cadre in Hindupur, further his increasing dependency on his Personal Assistant Veeraiah is creating internal rift. The actor intervened and brokered peace between the groups that are for and against his new PA.
Will Balayya Babu give hand to the producer who bankrolled his ‘Legend’ movie for the second time? The current scenario makes everyone think so.
Balayya’s ‘Legend’ was produced by Sai Korrapati in association with 14 Reels. At that time, Balayya gave his word to Korrapati to give him his 100th film. The producer then started holding discussions with several directors especially with Boyapati Srinu to prepare a suitable script for Balayya’s 100th film. In the end, Krish approached Balayya with the subject of GPSK and the project materialized without much ado.
Korrapati at least wanted to be a co-producer of GPSK. Krish however was reluctant to partner with anyone else and he convinced Balayya to let his home banner alone deal with the production work. Since the film was a high budgeted historical film and also because Krish was putting his heart and soul in the film, Balayya gave him a free hand and politely sidelined Korrapati.
The ‘Legend’ maker was however optimistic about producing the launch pad of Balayya’s son Mokshagna at least. He has been waiting to get his hands on this project for a long time. Now, possibly to his misfortune, Krish has once again entered the scene as Balayya finalized him to launch his son. If Krish wants to produce this film, then Korrapati will be second time unlucky. He already lost Balayya’s landmark 100th film and now he is on the verge of losing Mokshagna’s debut film too.
Said to be a love story, the debut project of Mokshagna will get on track after Krish is done with the historical Hindi film ‘Manikarnika’ starring Kangana Ranaut in titular role.

The total budget of Paisa Vasool is 35 Cr. Of it, Puri took 10 Cr as his fee for providing story, screenplay and direction. The fact that Puri wraps up films at jet speed, incurring very reasonable production cost, might also have convinced producers to shell out this huge amount. Actress Charmee, who is a partner in Puri Connects, was paid Rs 1 Cr for her services. Both Kyra Dutt and Muskan Sethi were supplied by Puri Connects.
Balayya usually charges 5 Cr for a film. However, he was paid Rs 10 Cr remuneration for Paisa Vasool. This is the highest remuneration he has ever taken for a film. Since the film’s producers, Bhavya Creations, have interests in different businesses, and as they seek the support of Andhra Pradesh govt. they didn’t mind paying the double the remuneration to Balayya, who is an MLA and a close aide and relative of CM Chandrababu Naidu. Another reason could be Balayya’s commitment. It was heard earlier that despite Puri wanted to produce Paisa Vasool, Balayya gave the film to Bhavya Creations honoring his word given to the producer a couple of years ago.
On the whole, both Balayya and Puri themselves pocketed 55-60 percent of the film’s total budget.
