BVSN Prasad brings talented Siddhu & Bommarillu Baskar for SVCC37

Siddhu Jonnalagadda gained massive craze among youth with back to back successes. And his last outing DJ Tillu created sensation at the box office. He’s understandably pleased with the recognition and appreciation that’s coming his way.

The actor now joined hands with blockbuster director Bomarillu Baskar, who recently tasted success with Most Eligible Bachelor. The new film, his 9th in career, is backed by the BVSN Prasad under popular production house Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra.

Now, this exciting collaboration is unexpected, and Siddhu is working on top production house projects one after the other. The project tentatively titled SVCC 37 launched today with a formal pooja ceremony. It was a grand success with the gracious presence of top producers, directors, celebrities and media.

Producers Ravi Shankar, Vamshi, Miryala Ravinder Reddy, directors Nandini Reddy, Radha Mohan, Karthik Varma, Subbu, writer Kona Venkat, Neeraja Kona and Damodhar Reddy attended the launch ceremony.

Allu Aravind garu sounded the clapboard for the muhurtham shot, while producer Dil Raju garu switched on the camera. More details about this project will be announced soon.

Akhil’s producer not repeating the mistakes

It is a known fact that Akkineni Akhil’s debut film Akhil and his second film Hello were made on a solid budget. Unfortunately, both films ended as box office failures and buyers incurred heavy losses. Though Hello garnered good reviews, the film couldn’t break even as it was sold for high prices due to its expensive budget.

Now, producer BVSN Prasad who is bankrolling Akhil’s third film Mr. Majnu is planning judiciously and spending the budget wisely. Reportedly, Mr Majnu is made with a limited budget between 25-30 Crores to ensure that there is no great risk involved. Majority of the shoot was done in London and the producer will get some percentage of refund from the UK government due to its tourism norms. This helped the producer to restrict the film’s budget.

Sources say that BVSN Prasad is looking for a quality output with limited budget so that the pre release business will ensure table profits for him. He is trying his best not repeat the mistakes of Akhil’s previous producers. He is also looking for an ideal release date during Republic Day so that the film will have no big competition at box office..

NTR is busy with his 25th film in the direction of Sukumar. A song is being shot on the pair of NTR and Rakul Preet in London. This song is being choreographed by the super talented Sekhar master who is very famous for his short signature steps and montage songs. With this song, this film will be done with 2 songs picturization and 4 will be pending. The impending schedule will be wrapped up by September 15th and the unit will be back in Hyderabad for Vinayaka Chavithi festivities. A special still will be unveiled on August 15th on the occasion of Independence Day. Jagapathi Babu is playing antagonist role and Rajendra Prasad will be seen as NTR’s father. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring tunes for this film. BVSN Prasad and Reliance are co-producing this revenge drama.
