The long weekend of Diwali is here and four films are testing their luck during the holiday season. Manchu Vishnu’s Ginna and Vishwak Sen’s Ori Devuda are the straight Telugu releases on October 21st. Both these films are carrying good buzz and the promotional activities are on. Both Ori Devuda and Ginna will have a comfortable release in a decent number of screens. Ori Devuda is the remake of Tamil film Oh My Kadavule and Ashwin Marimuthu who directed the original helmed Ori Devuda. The film is targeted for youth and Victory Venkatesh played a brief role. Manchu Vishnu’s Ginna is a mass entertainer directed by debutant Suryaa and Sunny Leone, Payal Rajput are the special attraction of the film.

Two dubbed films Prince and Sardar are releasing during the Diwali weekend. Jathi Ratnalu fame Anudeep is the director of Prince starring Siva Karthikeyan in the lead role. Tollywood young actors not worried about the Veterans

1

Megastar Chiranjeevi and King Nagarjuna are heading for a mighty clash on October 5th with God Father and The Ghost. Both these films are heading for a direct clash which never happened in the past. In a surprise, Manchu Vishnu’s Ginna is releasing on the same day. Bellamkonda Ganesh Babu’s debut film Swathi Muthyam is also releasing on the same day. The young actors are not much bothered about veteran actors like Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna.

Manchu Vishnu has been struggling for success and Ginna would be an important attempt for him. He needs to score a hit at any cost and heading for a solo release would make a difference. Debutant Bellamkonda Ganesh too will have to make an impact with his first film to stand in the race. Both Ginna and Swathi Muthyam will open on a dull note for sure as there are biggies in the race. But the makers of these films are quite confident on the content and they are heading for direct clash with God Father and The Ghost. Couple of other small films are releasing on Friday and the announcements are expected. The Tollywood audience will have a bunch of options for this Dasara and its time to see which film fares well among these announced releases.

Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu’s daughters sing for his upcoming film ‘Ginna’

1

Announcing that his daughters Ariaana and Viviana had turned singers and that they had sung a song in his upcoming film “Ginna”, Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu on Wednesday said that the video of the song would release on July 24.

Taking to Instagram to make the announcement, the actor began his post with Tim Cahill’s quote: “A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles.”

He then went on to say, “It has been quite some time that I wrote a note to everyone who has been a part of my journey as a person and as an actor. I believe every Telugu person has been my friend and partner in this exciting journey.

“I was born in the film industry and grew up on film sets, watching in awe the love and appreciation films received. I saw first-hand the unconditional love of millions of fans who loved my father and the humility my father had towards his fans.

“I have always wanted to be an actor. By the blessings of the almighty and love, support, and affection of the Telugu people, I was able to achieve my dream. Being an actor has not been an easy journey. It has been very tough and challenging. I have to deal with constant judgement from all corners such as ‘How I look?’ ‘How I dress?’ ‘How I behave?’…

“My entire life became public knowledge and constantly discussed, but I am aware it comes with its territory. It can be very tiring at times, but it has been worth it because of the love and adulation I get as an actor.

“I have always looked at every Telugu person as a member of my family. I don’t shy away from them. My life has always been an ‘open book.’ That is the reason why, when my children were born, I sought your blessings.

“Today, my children are seeking to scale newer heights and I seek your love and affection once again. As a father and as an actor, I am proud to introduce my two daughters – Ariaana and Viviana as singers and performers. In my upcoming movie ‘Ginna,’ they have sung a song for the world to hear. The video for the song will release on Sunday, July 24 at 11:13 A.M.

“I dreamt that they would become actors one day, but it’s not up to me, it is up to them which path they choose. I seek your blessings and best wishes for them as they start on a new journey of their own. Thank you all for always being there for me and can’t wait to see all your support… I’ll be watching.”

After Prabhu Deva, Ganesh Acharya comes on board for Vishnu Manchu’s ‘Ginna’

After Prabhu Deva and Prem Rakshith, one of the top choreographers of India, Ganesh Acharya, too has now become a part of director Eeshaan Surya’s upcoming film ‘Ginna’, featuring Vishnu Manchu in the lead.

The star dance master, who has choreographed for many films in Bollywood, has composed a party number for the Vishnu-starrer, which is set against an engagement backdrop.

Not just crafting it, Ganesh Acharya has even shaken a leg for the number, as he has had a long association with Vishnu Manchu.

The film has three pulsating numbers that are choreographed by three dance legends making the film a visual musical extravaganza.

The song, choreographed by Ganesh, has been picturised on Vishnu Manchu, Payal Rajput and Sunny Leone along with the supporting cast – Vennala Kishore, Chammak Chandra, Raghu Babu, among others.

It is worthy to mention that Prem Rakshith, who choreographed the ‘Naatu Naatu’ song for ‘RRR’, is also part of ‘Ginna’ as he composed an energetic dance number on the lead pair. Anup Rubens is composing the music.

Talking about coming on board, Acharya says, “I am stoked to be a part of this film and working with Vishnu has been a thrill through and through. The song is steeped in energy and the steps are designed to match the thrill that is expected from a film of this scale. Vishnu is family for me. Everytime he calls me for a song, I do it. This is one of the best songs I have choreographed for Vishnu.”

For his part, Vishnu adds, “It’s such an honour to work with Ganesh Masterji. This song and this film is easily amongst the most memorable experiences of my career. I am having a blast on set everyday. We are making sure that our fans have so much to relish in the movie.”
