JD too begins legal war against Jagan regime

3

With the Jagan regime ignoring and suppressing all forms of protests, the main Opposition TDP has long chosen to fight its battles in the courts. The ruling YCP leaders have expressed their frustration several times on this. Even the BJP and the Jana Sena have filed petitions in the courts on the 3 Capitals and other issues. Now, even the CBI ex Joint Director Lakshmi Narayana has chosen the legal path to take on the Jaganmohan Reddy Government.

The retired IPS officer used to express his dissenting voice on many issues openly in the past. But now, he has right away filed his petition in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh challenging the decision to privatise the multi-crore Visakha Steel Plant. He filed a public interest litigation (PIL), saying that the privatisation should be stopped considering the huge role being played by the VSP in socio-economic life of the region.

Mr. Lakshmi Narayana has already written a letter to the Central Government expressing his objection. The Steel Plant is a highly modernised one and it has contributed Rs. 43,700 Cr taxes to the Government. He said that the VSP sent 3,200 tonnes of steel for making Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel statue in Gujarat.
JD suggested that the Centre may take away a few thousands of acres and develop new industries in that. He has indirectly opposed CM Jagan Reddy’s suggestion to sell VSP land to overcome its losses and debts. Instead, JD suggested that the VSP properties elsewhere in the country may be sold.

Pawan fickle nature behind JD goodbye?

0

CBI Ex JD Lakshminarayana took a sensational decision to leave the Jana Sena Party. This has not come as a surprise to the Pawan Kalyan followers or fans. But what is disturbing them is the excuse that JD has given for his leaving the Jana Sena. JD described Pawan as a fickle minded person who has not stood by his vow of working whole time in politics. This was cited as the immediate reason.

Of course, Pawan Kalyan has suddenly become busy with the making of two films recently. But still, Senani is sparing enough possible time to fight against the government on issues like arbitrary shifting of Amaravati Capital and AP Police atrocities. JD didn’t take active participation in this.

In fact, JD has stopped active participation in Jana Sena activities for over five months. He did not either express his opinions critically on the policies of the YCP government like Pawan did. JD preferred to act independently right from the beginning. Maybe, it was for this reason he initially wanted to start his own party. At that time, he also rejected N Jayaprakash Narayan’s offer to take over Lok Satta.

Lakshminarayana obviously looked for a separate identity. Analysts say that politics is for a fighter like Arvind Kejriwal but not for sincere officers like JP and JD.

We are not bothered by exit polls: JD Laxminarayana

0

Jana Sena has finally given its response on the extreme negative exit polls given to it. Its Visakhapatnam MP candidate and CBI Ex JD Lakshminarayana has preferred to ignore these results saying that their party has already decided to fight for people’s rights regardless of victory or defeat in the elections. He asserted that they are not at all bothered by the exit polls released by the media yesterday.

Laxminarayana’s response comes amid totally adverse exit polls as some of these have given just zero MLA seats for Jana Sena. Others have given 0 to 5. These predictions go contrary to the great expectations among the fans of Pawan Kalyan about a silent wave for Jana Sena. Analysts say that it’s clear now that Jana Sena couldn’t gather much support outside of the Kapu community to which Pawan belongs. Pawan’s impact is obviously very limited among young voters.

New age politics: ‘JD’ Lakshmi Narayana election promises on bond paper

0

Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has been saying that he joined politics to demonstrate people how new age politics will be. Sticking to his word, he gave tickets to many common people and the people with no criminal cases against them. Former joint director of CBI, Lakshmi Narayana, also seems to be following the path of his party supremo. He wrote all his election promises on hundred rupees bond paper and assured people of development as well as transparency in Visakhapatnam parliament constituency.

Some of the promises he wrote on the bond paper are – placing integrated water distribution system to solve water problem of Visakhapatnam area, specific action plans to curb the pollution, to be available to the people of the constituency, and many other such promises. He prepared separate manifesto for Vizag constituency.

He added that, if he fails to fulfil these promises, people can seek judiciary action against him as he is writing the promises on bond paper. we will have to wait and see whether people will encourage this kind of new age politics.

‘Safe Vizag’ is my primary focus, says “JD” Lakshmi Narayana

1

Former CBI joint director “JD” Lakshmi Narayana is campaigning in Visakhapatnam MP constituency and his speeches are being appreciated by Vizag people.

In fact, Vizag MP constituency is considered “urban” constituency with most of the voters being educated and people have always taken rational decisions rather than emotional decisions. If they like the candidate, they don’t even bother whether he is local to the constituency or not. In fact, most of the MPs who won here are ‘non-locals’. For e.g. in 2004, Nedurumalli Janardhana Reddy won over Dr M. V. V. S. Murthi, who is local (now his grandson and Lokesh’s co-brother is contesting from the same constituency). In 2009, Daggubati Purandeswari won over local leader Palla Srinivasa Rao. It seems Vizag people prefer the leaders with no criminal or faction background. In 2014, Kambhampati Hari Babu, who was considered underdog before elections defeated Y.S. Vijayamma.

‘JD’ Lakshmi Narayana is giving some interesting analogy to Vizag people. He is saying ‘increasing land grabbing activities’ is the first step for any city to turn ‘unsafe’. He compared with Mumbai where he worked as a top police officer and told that, once land grabbing activities start, there will be more goons in the city and more illegal money in the city. Once that happens, gradually the crime rate increases in the city, he added. He told, ‘Safe Vizag’ is the primary focus and as a police officer, he knows how to curb the criminal activities that arise as consequences of land grabbing. His comments seem to be indirectly targetted at MVV Satyanarayana, YSRCP MP candidate who was earlier arrested in land grabbing case.

Vizag people are appreciating Lakshmi Narayana’s speeches and it seems they are getting convinced with his cogently put arguments.

Can “JD” Lakshmi Narayana win from Vizag as MP?

1

Former CBI Joint director, who recently joined Janasena, got MP ticket from the party. He will be contesting from Visakhapatnam as MP candidate. Visakhapatnam MP seat got everyone’s attention in 2014 election as BJP candidate Haribabu sprang a surprise by winning against YS Jagan’s mother Vijayamma. However, as there is no alliance with BJP, TDP is fielding its own candidate this time. Discussion started in social media and among political circle about the chances of Lakshmi Narayana winning from here. To check that we need to see, who is contesting from other parties too.

Tollywood producer, who earlier arrested under Land Grabbing Act contesting from YSRCP:

Tollywood producer M.V.V.Satyanarayana who produced movies like Luck unnodu with Manchu Manoj, Gitanjali with Anjali and Srinivasa Reddy (Kona Venkat as the writer) is contesting from YSRCP here in 2019 LS election. M.V.V.Satyanarayana has been chosen for the ticket, within 24 hours of joining the party and that gave rise to suspicions among people that he might have given a good amount for party fund. Vizag LS seat was contested by Y.S.Vijayamma in 2014 but she lost it to BJP MP Haribabu who was considered underdog before the election.

However, MVV Satyanarayana was not only a producer but also a realtor and there have been police cases related to land trespassing on him. In fact, he was arrested by Palem police in 2016 under the AP Land Grabbing Act for allegedly encroaching on other plots by merging roads, drains and also common space. The cops picked him up from his office at Lawson’s Bay Colony. At that time police told to media that MVV Satyanarayana involved in the construction of a gated community opposite the ACA-VDCA cricket stadium. He had purchased 38 out of88 plots spread over survey numbers 357/1 and 357/2 in the panchayat-approved layout and had also performed Bhoomi pooja a few days ago before starting construction. But on the eve of the inauguration, his firm encroached into the adjacent plots and erected hoardings and other publicity boards making it look like those areas also belong to them, said the police. Upon the complaint by one of the owners of adjacent plots, Police arrested him. However, at that time, Satyanarayana alleged that TDP president and MLA Kala Venkata Rao was behind his arrest.

Son-in-law of Nandamuri Balakrishna from TDP:

Sri Bharat, the grandson of senior TDP leader late M.V.V.S. Murti and president of GITAM University, is contesting from Visakhapatnam parliament constituency as TDP candidate. He is the son-in-law of Nandamuri Balakrishna and co-brother-in-law of Nara Lokesh. M.V.V.S. Murti who passed away a few months back has very good name in this area but TDP giving many tickets to own family is actually turning out to be a negative point. CBN’s son Lokesh, CBN’s brother-in-law Bala Krishna already contesting for assembly.

Lakshmi Narayana from Janasena:

Janasena has very good prospects in this area. During 2009 also, PRP got decent number of assembly seats from this area. Moreover, it has significant chunk of Kapu population. More than all this, Vizag is considered “urban” Lok Sabha constituency as it has more educated voters and Lakshmi Narayana has very good image among these educated voters. Pawan Kalyan contesting for assembly from the same district also is expected to have positive impact.

So, definitely, JD Lakshmi Narayana has very good chances of winning. But politics is always unpredictable and dynamic. We will have to wait and see whether Lakshmi Narayana will win as MP from here.

Ex-CBI JD Lakshmi Narayana’s text message to Pawan Kalyan!

2

To better understand politics, and act accordingly, it will at least take another decade for Pawan Kalyan. Meanwhile, the actor-turned-politician is not backing away from making sensational statements, thereby opening doors to controversies. Parallelly, he is ensuring that key public servants are a part of his team.

Though officially not confirmed, Ex-CBI Officer JD Lakshmi Narayana is likely to join Janasena Party, close sources confirmed. Pawan Kalyan’s latest comments further strengthened the claims. Talking about what has taken place before his Guntur Sabha, Pawan Kalyan said, ‘two days before the Janasena Formation Day Meeting in Guntur, I received a text message from CBI Joint Director Lakshmi Narayana. He texted ‘all the best’.

I heard that there were some speculations about him joining Janasena Party. If he is willing to join the party, we will welcome him. As of now, I never spoke to him regarding this aspect’, concluded Pawan Kalyan.

Unlike his counterparts CBN and YS Jagan, Pawan Kalyan is scouting for government officials who hold a ‘celebrity’ status in the society. Lakshmi Narayana has recently resigned as Maharashtra Additional DGP, opting VRS (Voluntary Retirement Scheme).

JD Lakshmi Narayana to play key role in Jana sena

3

Many people in AP have soft corner for former CBI Joint Director Lakshmi Narayana who investigated many high profile cases like Disproportionate Assets case of YS Jagan, Satyam Ramalinga Raju and mining case of Gali Janardhan Reddy. He is more remembered with his designation JD (Joint director) that almost became his surname, though he is not in that position since long time. He recently resigned to his job to join politics. Rumors are rife that he is all set to join Jana sena party. But here is latest update on his joining that party. It seems this has been long drawn sketch.

As per the info from top level sources, JD Lakshmi Narayana is all set to take a leadership role in Jana Sena. That position will be something like a working president with Pawan in the background as party leader. As per the sources, this is all plan of BJP government at center. BJP bigwigs feel JD Lakshmi Narayana has very good credibility in Telugu states and moreover he is from Kapu community. Ajit Doval and Governor Narasimhan are his friends and this entire sketch is directed from Governor’s office, if the reports are to be believed. So they are bringing him to Janasena so that they can split Kapu votes to kill TDP.

So, the reports that are coming all are suggesting that BJP is hellbent on destroying TDP party. We have to wait and see how the events will turn in future!!!

Ex JD – Lakshmi Narayana resigns, Rumours on joining Janasena

1

Many people in AP may not recognize if you say VV Lakshmi narayana, but if you say JD Lakshmi Narayana, they immediately recognize him as former CBI Joint Director Lakshmi Narayana, who investigated Disproportionate Assets case of YS Jagan. His role (Joint Director, in short J.D) became his surname. He has now submitted his resignation to the post of Additional Director General of Police in Mumbai.

He is 1990 batch IPS officer from Maharashtra cadre. He investigated many high profile cases including Satyam scam and Jagan’s cases. Some reports say he is resigning citing the reasons like “transfer” that he did not like but most of the people feel he is resigning to join Politics. Social media is agog with the news of him entering into the politics and and joining Janasena since last one year. But many rubbished it as one more rumor created by gossip mongers in social media. However, now it seems the social media gossip is turning true at least till the part that he is joining politics. Whether he joins Janasena or some other party, only time will tell. But whichever party he joins, it will be definitely embarrassment to YSRCP and Jagan as he has complete information including technical details of the case.

We will have to wait and see how his second innings will be.
