Ram Gopal Varma is all set to test his luck with Lakshmi’s NTR which is based on the controversial part of NTR’s life and is narrated from Lakshmi Parvathi’s view. The film has been announced for March 22nd release and it is yet to complete the censor scrutiny. With election code coming into effect, the censor board denied watching Lakshmi’s NTR.

The film will not release anytime now before the completion of Assembly and Parliament polls. This turned out to be a huge jolt for Ram Gopal Varma and his team who announced that they would release the film at any cost on March 22nd. The biggest challenge would be if the audience shows interest to watch the film post polls. Ram Gopal Varma is back with a sensation named Lakshmi’s NTR. The film has been announced for March 22nd all over and the trailer created enough buzz. Telugu360 collected some exclusive information about the film’s release plans. With a bunch of complaints registered with the Election Commission to stall the release, EC directed all these to the state High Court which is looking into the matter. Lakshmi’s NTR is yet to complete the censor scrutiny. A special bench of High Court is expected to watch the film and submit a detailed report to the Election Commission.

With less than a week’s time for the film’s release, the biggest challenge for Lakshmi’s NTR is to complete the censor work. With the Election code on, analysts say that it is quite tough for the film to release as per the plan. There are no exciting offers for the film in trade and Ram Gopal Varma introduced a Mumbai based distribution house after several buyers backed out from the project.

There are even speculations that the film lacks interesting content and all the exciting episodes are shown in the trailer itself.

Ram Gopal Varma on the other side took his twitter handle saying that there are speculations about the distribution rights and posted the contact number of the producer Rakesh Reddy. This may be a new trick to sell the theatrical rights of Lakshmi’s NTR.

He tweeted that, if Pawan Kalyan wins in elections, he will become CM for the state and if he doesn’t win in election he will become husband for the CM (CM ki mogudu avuthadu), indirectly referring he will do a great job as opposition leader. In other tweet he wrote that, Chandra babu Naidu backstabbed NTR in the past, but Pawan Kalyan will do a “front-stabbing ” to Chandrababu Naidu with his honesty.

It is known news that, earlier, Ram Gopal Varma landed in controversy after he admitted that he only advised Sri Reddy to use cuss words against Pawan Kalyan and abuse his mother. After that incident, Pawan Kalyan fans have been posting counter statements whenever Ram Gopal Varma comes up with any statement.

Now Ram Gopal Varma posted positive tweets on Pawan Kalyan, but many netizens are committing that, he just realised that he needs the support of Mega fans for his upcoming movie release and that’s why he is posting positive tweets on Pawan Kalyan.

Though Lakshmi Parvathi rejected her involvement in Lakshmi’s NTR, she has been spotted several times with the unit of the film. Featuring a bunch of new faces and theatre artists, RGV is expected to announce the release date of Lakshmi’s NTR after the release date of NTR – Mahanayakudu will be out.

Role of Lakshmi Parvati is played by Kannada actress Yagna Shetty who made her mark by her performance in ‘Killing Veerappan’ as the wife of forest brigand Veerappan.

Actor Shritej who worked in films like Vangaveeti and Touch Chesi Chudu started getting meaty roles. He is playing the role of AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu in Laxmi’s NTR movie directed by maverick director Ram Gopal Varma. RGV himself posted this update through his Twitter handle.

Interestingly same Shritej has played the role of late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy in NTR biopic. He also played the role of Devineni in Vangaveeti movie, which is fictionalized biopic of late Vangaveeti Ranga. It seems Shritej has become a favorite for the directors making biopic films. Surprisingly, he is looking very much similar to the real life characters he is playing. RGV also praised the intensity in his eyes.

RGV also updated earlier that Yagna, who acted in his ‘Killing Veerappan’ movie will be playing the role of Lakshmi Parvathi in this movie. We will have to wait and see how this biopic movie from the maverick director fares at box office.

Maverick director Ram Gopla Varma is currently making Lakshmi’s NTR movie that is his counter to NTR biopic by Bala Krishna and Krish. RGV released a song yesterday that focused on ‘vennupotu’ (backstab) of Chandra Babu Naidu on NTR two decades back. The song he released had the visuals of Chandra Babu Naidu and all other real life personalities instead of artistes in the movie. The song has gone viral in social media.

However, it did not go well with TDP leaders as well as fans. Kurnool MLA SV Mohan Reddy complained to Police on the song released by RGV today. In his complaint, SV Mohan reddy wrote, RGV is intentionally trying to defame Chandra Babu Naidu and he urged Police to take appropriate action on RGV.

SV Mohan Reddy won in 2014 as Kurnool MLA on YSRCP ticket but later he defected into TDP. We will have to wait and see whether Police will take any action on RGV or not.

Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma is proceeding with Laxmi’s NTR movie- his take on NTR. RGV announced that first look of ‘vennupotu’ (backstabbing) song of this movie will be revealed on 21st December. Incidentally, this is birth day of YS Jagan.

Krish’s NTR biopic will deal NTR’s journey in Telugu Film Industry (Part-1) and his journey in politics till Nadendla episode – that means both parts will touch NTR’s life before Lakshmi Parvathi entered his life. So, RGV announced that his movie will start where Krish’s biopic ends.

There have been rumors about YSRCP leaders lending support to this movie from backdoor. Now with RGV choosing this date for first look of the first song of this movie, those doubts got strengthened again. Of course both the movies – Krish’s movie as well as RGV’s movie are made with an intention of gaining politically and that’s why makers are releasing the movies before elections.
