Mahanadu gives new life to TDP activists

0

The two-day Mahanadu which concluded on Sunday had increased the confidence levels of the TDP activists down the line. The success had boosted the morale of the party workers who are now working with vengeance to bring the party back to power in the next round of elections.

The partial manifesto announced by party chief N Chandrababu Naidu had also gone well down the line giving a new lease of life for the rank and file. The free travel in the APSRTC buses for women and three LPG cylinders for free per year have gone well among the people.

Free LPG cylinders is one of the major expenses of every family, particularly the poor as the price had gone close to Rs 1100 a cylinder. Though the rural poor families depend to some extent on firewood, the urban poor depend only on the LPG cylinders for cooking.

The free travel in the government buses is one of the key issues in the Karnataka Assembly elections which brought the Congress to power. The promise, besides others, had gone well among the working women and college students, giving victory to the party.

The TDP leaders and the ranks believe that the same mantra would also work in their favour in the state in the next election.

The TDP ranks are celebrating and welcoming the party’s partial manifesto. The TDP social media wings too are active in promoting these promises by the party chief.

State revenue hit hard due to Jagan’s destructive rule, says Naidu

0

The State revenue affected very badly during the destructive rule of Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, said former chief minister and TDP president, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Saturday and called upon the intellectuals to ponder over how the State is adversely hit in this psycho and Tuglaq rule.

Speaking at Mahanadu, Chandrababu Naidu felt that the revenue of AP was once much higher than Telangana but now it has fallen so low. From day one, the Jagan Reddy government has been functioning with the sole aim of destroying the State, the former chief minister remarked.

Pointing out that in 2019 the revenue of Andhra Pradesh was Rs 66786 cr while that of Telangana was Rs 69620 cr, Naidu said that by 2022-23 the AP revenue was Rs 94916 cr and the Telangana revenue grew to Rs 1321175 cr. This means the revenue of Telangana is Rs 37,259 cr more than AP, he said.

Had all the projects, including Amaravati, been completed AP would have flourished well, the TDP supremo said and added that in 2019 the revenue through GST in AP was Rs 24957 cr while in Telangana it was Rs 18779 cr, Rs 6,000 cr more revenue in AP than Telangana. However, by 2022-23 the GST revenue in AP was Rs 38840 cr as against Rs 41888 cr in Telangana. All this because there are no business activities in AP, he felt.

The revenue through registrations wing was Rs 5427 cr in AP during 2018-19 while in Telangana it was Rs 5344 cr and in 2022-23 the revenue through the same department was Rs 8022 cr as against Rs 14228 cr in Telangana, Naidu pointed out. In the sales tax too, the AP revenue in 2018-19 was Rs 21914 cr while that of Telangana Rs 20290 cr and by 2022-23 the revenue through sales tax in Andhra Pradesh was Rs 18,004 cr as against Rs 29,604 cr in Telangana, he added.

This clearly indicates that the revenue in AP has come down by Rs 4,000 cr by 2023 than that of 2019 while in Telangana the revenue went up by nearly Rs 10,000 cr during the same period. All this because of the reverse rule of Jagan, he said.

Time has come to chase Jagan out of AP, says Atchen Naidu

1

TDP AP unit president, Kinjerapu Atchen Naidu, called upon the people to chase Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, out of the State.

“As the people never trusted Jagan, he played the Kodi Katti (rooster knife) drama and since this too did not evoke much public sympathy he brutally killed his own paternal uncle and became the Chief Minister by generating sympathy,” Atchen Naidu said while addressing the TDP Mahanadu on the opening day on Saturday. So, the time has come now to hunt and chase him out of the State, the TDP state president said.

The authoritarian tendency in Jagan has got exposed with his winning 151 Assembly seats and he began destructive rule by opening the doors for evil deeds, Atchen Naidu remarked. Under the guise of the ruling of his father, Jagan minted lakhs of crores of money. “My personal opinion is that it is a blunder voting this person, who is an accused in 11 cases and was behind bars for 16 months, for power,” the TDP state unit president felt.

Observing that from 2014 to 2019 was really a golden period for AP, he said “We were really worried whether it is possible to develop a State and provide welfare to the people with Rs 16,000 cr deficit budget and with no funds on hand. The people did not feel the pain as an efficient leader, Chandrababu Naidu, has become the chief minister of the State,” Atchen Naidu remarked.

Jagan resorted to false propaganda against Chandrababu Naidu, who has taken the State to the top position in the country in development and welfare. Since the people did not trust this, Jagan resorted to Kodi Katti (cock knife) drama and later killed his own paternal uncle to generate public sympathy with which he came to power, Atchen Naidu observed.

Stating that the TDP always stood by the people and never tried to take revenge against any particular leader or party, Atchen Naidu said that the party always moved ahead with a proper agenda and with public support. “But, after this person has become the Chief Minister he has been creating some problem or the other for the TDP only to ensure that no other party except the YSRCP should survive,” the TDP state unit chief said.

Jagan is adopting a vengeful attitude towards all the TDP leaders and is registering false cases against them, but the TDP leaders continued to strive for the progress of the party though some leaders lost their assets while some facing much difficult situations, Atchen Naidu maintained. “The TDP can never repay the debt to you all and the party is still fighting as we have support from the public and excellent leadership,” he noted.

TDP flag is pillar for Telugu community across globe, says Chandrababu

0

The TDP flag is a backbone for the Telugu community across the globe while the front wheel of the party symbol, the cycle, means welfare while the rear wheel means development, observed TDP supremo, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Saturday.

Addressing the two-day Mahanadu on the opening day at Rajamahendravaram Chandrababu Naidu said the ongoing conclave is something special as there is much enthusiasm and energy in the party cadre. “If some people come in the way, let us move ahead by crushing them,” Mr Chandrababu called upon the party leaders and the cadre who attended the Mahanadu.

Observing that late NT Rama Rao, the founder of the TDP, brought global recognition for the Telugu society, the party national president said, “We are descendants of such a great leader.” Stating that Rajahmundray is the platform for the Telugu culture and traditions, Chandrababu said that this is the land wherein the great poet Nannayya trekked while the historic personality, Kandukuri Veeresalingam is born here and the historic personality Sir Arthur Cotton lived at this place.

Maintaining that this Mahanadu is historic as on the one hand the centenary birth anniversary of the Late NT Rama Rao and on the other 42 year long travel of the TDP, Chandrababu gave a call to the party leaders and c adre to take the Telugu society to the top level in the world. “Yellow is an auspicious colour and people are becoming enthusiastic on seeing the party flag,” he remarked.

Pointing out that the cadre and the leaders have made several sacrifices in the past four years without getting scared of arrests and attacks, the TDP supremo said that he will always stand by the cadre as a member of their family. “I am saluting you all for firmly standing by the party despite illegal attacks on all of you all these years. I am taking the responsibility to come to your rescue in future and I am assuring you all from this platform that I will stand by you all,” Chandrababu stated.

Making it clear that the TDP is ready to face the elections even if they are held much in advance or as per schedule, Mr Chandrababu Naidu said that the party should always work to create assets and distribute them for the poor. “Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sole aim is that only he should be rich, but my aim is that the poor should become rich and the drivers for this is the TDP cadre,” he maintained.

With the introduction of technology there is no gap between the leaders and the cadre, the former chief minister said that the coming war is like Kurukshetra, and the cadre should strive to defeat the Kauravas. The TDP supremo said that all major issues will come for discussion in the two-day conclave.
