Superstar Mahesh Babu is on a summer break and he has been chilling out with his family and friends in Goa. The actor returned back to Hyderabad on Sunday and the actor will fly to Chennai today to shoot for the climax which will start from tomorrow. This AR Murugadoss’s directorial is nearing completion and it has been aimed for August release. Mahesh has been working from the past few months without major breaks for Spyder which is said to be the costliest ever film made in his career. Touted to be an investigation thriller, Spyder presents Mahesh as an intelligence officer.

Once the climax of the film will be wrapped up, couple of songs are to be shot with which the entire shoot of Spyder will be wrapped up. Rakul Preet Singh is romancing Mahesh for the first time in her career and Spyder will have a simultaneous release in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam along with Telugu. NV Prasad, Tagore Madhu are bankrolling this big budget project and Reliance Entertainments is co-producing the film. An official release date of the film will be announced once the shoot of Spyder will be wrapped up.

Ace director AR Murugadoss seems to be taking his sweet time to meet the staggering expectations on his upcoming film starring Superstar Mahesh Babu.

The film, titled SPYder, which went on floors almost a year ago, is still in production stage with good amount of work yet to be finished. The shooting of film’s climax portion will commence from 13th of this month and it will be wrapped up by May 20. After taking a short gap, the unit will reassemble to shoot two songs in Ramoji Film City. With 1 more week of patch work, the film’s production part will be completed.

Later, Murugadoss will spend about two months on post-production. As Baahubali has raised the standards of Indian cinema, movie lovers will be expecting high quality products especially from big budget entertainers. Hence, Murugadoss has decided to deliver spotless output however amount of time it may take.

Makers are tentatively planning to release the film ahead of Independence Day. The film’s teaser will reportedly be released on the eve of Superstar Krishna’s birthday, 31st May.

Meanwhile, Mahesh will move to Koratala Siva’s film after wrapping up the shoot of SPYder.

It was almost an year since Mahesh Babu’s last film Brahmotsavam released, but there is still there no clarity on when his next film will hit the screens. He started shooting for Murugadoss’ Spy thriller SPYder ten months back and the team is yet to call it a wrap. Though it can be understood that a bilingual needs more time than a straight film, the makers have thoroughly failed to come up with a perfect plan.

The poor planning by Spyder team has disappointed Mahesh fans big-time. Initially, they were made to wait for months to get a glimpse of the first look and the title. Unfortunately, the first look has slightly fallen short of the heavy expectations and they are a little disappointed with the title as well.

Now, they got a bigger shock after knowing that the film is going to be postponed to an indefinite time. Last month, Murugadoss officially announced that the film will release on June 23rd coinciding with Ramzan. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the film’s release, but unfortunately they have to wait for some more time due to the postponment. Reports suggest that the film is likely to release in August. We have to wait and see how the makers cover up for the inordinate delay.
