The ten minute short film has been released today on the eve of Mother’s Day. It narrates the story of two drunkards who chance upon a girl on one midnight during their journey and try to sexually assault her.

Accidentally, they hit a woman on road who happens to be the mother to one of them. Luckily, she is out of the danger as they rush her to the hospital with the help of the girl whom they tried to rape in the car.

This is an enlightening short film which serves as an eye-opener to the perverted men who resort to raise their strength over women.

It ends with Naga Shaurya’s voice over who compares mothers( women) to our earth who bears any pain. He says every women should be treated like earth and deserves to respected with utmost care.

The short film is produced by Shaurya’s home banner IRA Creations.

As per our sources, the producers are quoting around 1.2 Crores for the overseas rights. If they manage to get offers in this range, they can recoup a good portion of their investment before the film’s release.

As part of the promotions for his upcoming film Chalo, Naga Shaurya expressed displeasure over Sai Pallavi taking away the entire success credit of Fidaa.

He said Varun Tej’s balanced performance and Sekhar Kammula’s sensible narration and well-etched characters should equally deserve credit along with Sai Pallavi’s act in the film’s success. He also opined that it is Telangana dialect associated with the female lead’s character that clicked very well with audience what otherwise would have been a regular role.

And, when the anchor asked if he is referring that Sai Pallavi is not that good on screen and only if it was Sekhar Kammula’s directional skills that made her appear convincing, Shaurya smartly replied he didn’t mean it.
