Premalu 2 Announced

Premalu is a smashing hit in the South and this Malayalam film impressed the youth big time. The makers announced the sequel Premalu 2 and the film will hit the theatres in 2025. An official poster has been out. The production house Bhavana Studios posted “The Biggest RomCom blockbuster ever in Malayalam Cinema will be back in 2025! Let’s Premalu2”. Naslen and Mamitha Baiju will play the lead roles in the sequel and Girish AD will direct the rom com.

The sequel will have a direct release in all the four South Indian languages. SS Karthikeya will present the Telugu version of Premalu 2. The pre-production work of the film is currently going on and more details are expected to be out soon.

Premalu Telugu Trailer Promises a Rollercoaster of Humor & Heart

‘Premalu’ has emerged as a standout hit among Malayalam films in 2024, winning over both audiences and critics. SS Karthikeya, son of renowned director SS Rajamouli, has entered the distribution arena by bringing this film to the Telugu audience.

The film’s trailer, packed with humor, was released today.

It instantly clicks with Gen Z because of cool and funny references of RRR “Thokkukuntu Povaale” & Kumari Aunty. In the trailer, we see Sachin smitten by Reenu (played by Mamitha Baiju) at a wedding, leading him to follow her to Hyderabad where she is employed at an IT company.

However, Sachin’s pursuit hits a roadblock when he discovers Reenu’s lofty expectations. This is when Aadhi makes a striking entry, adding a new twist to the tale. The humorous banter between Naslen and Sangeeth Prathap, written by Aditya Haasan of #90’s webseries fame, stands out for its wit.

Produced by the powerhouse trio of Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Faasil, and Syam Pushkaran through Bhavana Studios, ‘Premalu’ boasts a talented cast including Althaf Salim, Shyam Mohan M, Akhila Bhargavan, Meenakshi Raveendran, Sangeeth Prathap, and Shameer Khan. The film is set for a theatrical release on March 8th.

SS Karthikeya acquires the rights of Malayalam Blockbuster

Premalu is a small film made in Malayalam and the film is doing wonders at the Kerala box-office. After receiving extremely good response, there is a huge demand for the rights of the film. The Malayalam version of Premalu is running with packed houses in cities like Hyderabad. Several top Tollywood producers have been in the race for the Telugu rights. SS Rajamouli’s son Karthikeya is said to have acquired the Telugu theatrical rights of the film and the dubbing works are in the final stages. Premalu will have a wide release on March 8th across the Telugu states on the eve of Maha Shivarathri. The film will also clash with Gopichand’s Bhimaa and Vishwak Sen’s Gaami.

Premalu is a youthful romantic comedy directed by Girish AD. Naslen K Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju played the lead roles in this film that is set in Hyderabad. Critically acclaimed actor Fahadh Faasil along with Dileesh Pothan and Syam Pushkaran produced Premalu. The film released in Kerala on February 9th.

Rajamouli credits his son Karthikeya for RRR single

SS Rajamouli is the country’s top director and his next film RRR is carrying terrific expectations. The first single Dosti released yesterday and the response for the song has been terrific. Rajamouli and his team came up with a new theme and had the lead actors NTR, Ram Charan along with the composers and the singers of the song. There are talks that the video byte was shot in a hurry and it had no involvement of Rajamouli. The top director credited his son Karthikeya for the hard work behind the song. He said that he is busy with the shoot of the climax song when Karthikeya designed and complete the Dosti song.

Aakashavaani Teaser: Evokes Interest

SS Rajamouli’s son SS Karthikeya backed a small film Aakashavaani and announced to produce the project. But he backed out of the project due to various reasons. The shooting portions of Aakashavaani are completed recently and SS Rajamouli unveiled the teaser of Aakashavaani. The teaser takes you to a completely new world and the suspense is kept under wraps. Kaala Bhairava’s background score would be remembered for a long time. The visuals are fresh and the teaser evokes the needed interest.

With no notable actors except Samuthirakani, Aakashavaani seems to be a new attempt and is directed by Ashwin Gangaraju. A Padmanabha Reddy produced Aakashavaani and the film is expected to hit the theatres soon. Several renowned technicians like Sreekar Prasad, Sai Madhav Burra worked for the film.
