SS Rajamouli’s ambitious patriotic drama RRR is undoubtedly the most eagerly awaited upcoming film of Tollywood. The film stars NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles and the story is set in the backdrop of Independence struggle. NTR is portraying the role of Komaram Bheem and Ram Charan will be seen as Alluri Seetharama Raju. It has already been revealed that a whopping budget of 300 Crores is being spent for this magnum opus which is going to release in different languages all over the world in 2020.

Now, Telugu360 has exclusively learnt that the makers are going to shell out a staggering 22 Crores for the intro episode of NTR. Rajamouli has roped in top class technicians from across the globe to work on this film. Reportedly, CGI experts from Hollywood who worked on Life of Pi and Jungle Book will join RRR team to design visual effects for crucial sequences. The introduction scenes of both NTR and Ram Charan will be one of the major highlights for the film. Rajamouli is planning to execute them on a grand scale that they will match the high expectations in audience.

Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt is playing one of the female leads in RRR and the hunt for a foreign actress is currently on. DVV Danayya is bankrolling this mega project.

After the monstrous box office success of Baahubali franchise, it is of no surprise that SS Rajamouli’s next project would be the cynosure of trade circles and audience all over the country. With NTR and Charan in lead roles, the project is bound to trigger unprecedented buzz and is expected to set new benchmarks in terms of pre release business and other trade deals.

Trade expectations on this crazy multi-starrer , which is tentatively titled as RRR, are quite staggering and mind blowing. Reportedly, the pre release business for RRR is expected to surpass 600 Crores. While the theatrical rights of all languages will be around 400 Crores, the digital and satellite rights are likely to fetch close to 200 Crores. This will be a record breaking pre release business for any Indian film by a huge margin. It is learnt that NTR and Charan will pocket a hefty remuneration which is equal to two movies for this magnum opus. Producer Danayya and Rajamouli will get equal share on profits incurred from the business done after deducting the budget spent on the film.

So, even before the film’s shoot has started rolling, RRR has started creating ripples in trade circles. The makers are planning to release the film in mid 2020.
