Former Minister and senior YCP leader Botsa Satyanarayana blamed Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan for behaving like an innocent in politics. Botsa said it was because of an immature decision by Pawan that the TDP won in 2014 election and Chandrababu Naidu became the chief minister. But the same political situation was not prevailing now and it has changed a lot as the people want to support the YCP.
Botsa says their party will win not less than 100 seats in the 175-member House in the coming election and this is a comfortable majority to form the government. He further asserted that there is no question of a hung assembly after the coming election as the people want to give a decisive verdict to Jaganmohan Reddy’s leadership. Analysts see Botsa’s comments on Pawan as something born out of frustration over possible vote swings caused if Jana Sena contests alone.
The Botsa family was among those who played a prominent role during the regime of YSR government. He emerged as a strong leader in the north coastal Andhra. Ever since joining the YCP, Botsa has been supporting Jagan and he is also playing a key role as trouble shooter on many occasions. But in the recent Vangaveeti family episode, Botsa tried to convince Radhakrishna to stay back in YCP but his efforts failed.
