Former minister and senior TDP leader Kanna Lakshminarayana on Saturday asked the YSR Congress leaders to give him one reason why Andhra Pradesh needs chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for another term.
Speaking to media persons in Guntur, Lakshminarayana said that he would publish a book with a thousand reasons why Andhra Pradesh does not require Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said he would give these reasons to anyone who wants to know it.
The TDP leader said that he would also go to the people and tell them a thousand reasons why we need to defeat Jagan Mohan Reddy. He called upon the people to vote against Jagan Mohan Reddy in the coming elections.
Lakshminarayana alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy had mortgaged Andhra Pradesh to Telangana state for his political interests. He also alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy could not complete the Polavaram Project in the last four-and-a-half years. He said that the previous TDP government had completed 75 per cent of the Polavaram project works. However, Jagan Mohan Reddy could not complete the balance 25 per cent of the works, he said.
The senior TDP leader said that Jagan Mohan Reddy had come to power asking people for one chance. But in the last four-and-a-half years, Jagan Mohan Reddy had destroyed the state on all fronts, he said. The TDP leader appealed to the people not to give their vote for Jagan Mohan Reddy for another term.
