7 films have released last friday in Telugu states. Among them 5 are straight & remaining 2 are dubbed, both from tamil. Except Cheliya no other film has made a mark at boxoffice.
Venkatesh’s Guru remained at No.1 this weekend and total distributor share of the film is estimated to be around 14 Cr. It will eventually cross 15cr mark and end up as a Hit.
Karthi-Maniratnam’s Cheliya has take a below average opening with collections coming down day by day over the weekend. The film will be out from most of the theaters next Friday and is a disaster. Maniratnam’s last film Ok bangaram was also a failure but that had much better collections when compared to this film.
Mister – staright starring varuntej & shivlinga – dub starring lawrence are going to release this friday.
