In the new franchise of Hera Pheri, the role of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte is portrayed by Paresh Rawal. The leading cast also includes Suniel Shetty and Akshay Kumar. Recently, Rawal’s unexpected departure from the film series took many by surprise. Following this incident, Akshay Kumar, who is a producer for Hera Pheri 3, has filed a lawsuit against Rawal regarding his conduct. Pooja Tidke, Joint Managing Partner at Parinam Law Associate, the firm representing Akshay’s production label, spoke about the repercussions, stating, “I believe there will be significant legal ramifications. This situation has undoubtedly harmed the franchise. There have been costs associated with the cast, staff, major senior actors, logistical arrangements, and the production of the trailer.”

During the promotions of his upcoming release Kannappa, Akshay Kumar conveyed the same about reaching a resolution, saying, “What’s unfolding is happening before you all. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I truly hope for a positive outcome”. Akshay Kumar has also recently achieved notable success with Housefull 5 and will portray Lord Shiva in the forthcoming film, Kannappa.
