It is becoming something of a comedy thriller about whether comedian Ali will contest the election on TDP or YCP ticket. The suspenseful drama continues even after his TDP ticket for Guntur East or Rajahmundry was almost confirmed. As there is no assurance from TDP yet, Ali has begun efforts to find his luck in YCP. He has already met with Jaganmohan Reddy and held discussions on his chances for getting a ticket.
Rumours are circulating in political circles that Ali is all likely to join YCP very soon. There is a lot of speculation on whether he will contest for the Assembly seat or Lok Sabha seat. It is not ruled out that Jagan may ask the comedian to contest from a parliamentary constituency.
Ali has been in touch with Chandrababu Naidu, Jaganmohan Reddy and Pawan Kalyan for the past few months. He is determined to contest in this election without any second thoughts. Analysts say Ali may not be able to get a seat of his choice considering the competition within the existing leaders in respective parties.
