Dhurandhar is all set to stream on Netflix from this weekend but the film still continues to register decent footfalls and box-office numbers. Dhurandhar crossed 3.6 crore footfalls in theatres and this is historic for an Indian film. The movie also did decently over the weekend after the release of Border 2. With a limited number of screens available, Dhurandhar continued to impress the audience with decent footfalls. The film is also running with decent occupancies on the weekdays in India. Dhurandhar is the first Indian film to collect Rs 1000 crores after it was released in a single language. Several blockbuster films achieved this with multiple languages of release.
Dhurandhar will also leave a solid profits for the makers and all those who are involved in the film’s distribution. Jio Studios has invested big money on the film along with the film’s director Aditya Dhar sharing the profits for his work. All the actors are paid decent remunerations and the best part is that the shoot of the second part of Dhurandhar was completed last year. Some patchwork is being done and it will be completed in the next few days. The entire nation now waits for the release of Dhurandhar 2 which is due for March 19th release across the globe. This time, the film will release in all the regional languages of India.
