Noted actor Suman has accused Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan of having forgotten about his earlier struggle for special category status to AP. He asked Pawan to restart his agitation for special status in Delhi where he should hold a protest at Jantar Mantar. The comments come amid reports of secret understanding between Jana Sena and BJP ahead of 2019 elections. TDP is blaming Pawan for compromising AP’s interests to help BJP and Modi.
Suman said Pawan Kalyan has got a huge following among youth and cinema fans but he has not been effectively able to take forward the demand for special status like he did in the beginning. He said a strong protest should be held in Delhi so that the BJP government will come down and fulfil promises to AP.
Suman made these remarks in Visakhapatnam where he inaugurated karate championships.
