YCP firebrand MP Vijayasai Reddy has made a scathing attack on the ‘pro-TDP’ media on the issue of recent merger of 4 TDP MPs with the BJP. He says that the TDP media has suddenly become BJP-friendly and started writing reports in favour of the ruling party at the Centres. Why has this media not published criticising the merger? Obviously, they have understood and began following the new line taken by Chandrababu Naidu, says Vijayasai.
It may be recalled that the YCP has equally targetted a section of media in the recent general election. The bitterness is still continuing as is evident from the MP’s remarks now. He says that there are pro-BJP stories and analysis reports though the party concerned has lured four MPs from the TDP.
TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu has criticised the MPs’ merger but the YCP is alleging that it was Naidu who has masterminded the entire merger issue. Vijayasai says that Naidu’s present game plan is to take the help of these defected MPs to save himself from the Note for Vote scam and such allegations.
