Salman Khan made an impactful return as the first guest on the new season of The Great Indian Kapil Show. He appeared fitter than he has in recent months and discussed his ongoing health issues. When the host, Kapil Sharma, brought up the subject of marriage, Salman took a moment to reflect on his experiences at 59 years old. He expressed that marriage and divorce can pose significant emotional and financial challenges, and starting a new one is never straightforward. He also provided an unexpected update regarding his health, stating, “I’m out here breaking my bones every day — my ribs are fractured, I’m still working despite suffering from trigeminal neuralgia, and there’s an aneurysm in my brain, yet I keep pushing forward. There’s also an AV malformation, but I’m carrying on.”
Despite dealing with these serious health challenges, including fractured ribs, trigeminal neuralgia, a brain aneurysm, and AV malformation, Salman made it clear that he has no plans to take a step back. “All of this is happening in my life. And when their mood changes, they will take half of what I possess. If it had occurred in my younger days, it wouldn’t have mattered — I could have rebuilt everything. But now, restarting is a different story,” the actor conveyed.
A brain aneurysm occurs when a weak area in a blood vessel within the brain balloons out. If it becomes overly enlarged, it risks bursting, resulting in bleeding in the brain, which poses serious and life-threatening dangers. On the other hand, an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) involves an abnormal tangle of blood vessels where arteries connect directly to veins, bypassing the normal network of small capillaries. This disruption can affect normal blood circulation and oxygen delivery to surrounding tissues. AVMs can develop at various locations but are more frequently found in the brain or spinal cord.
