Venky Atluri emerged as one of the Happening directors of Telugu cinema after he delivered Sir and Lucky Baskhar. He is currently directing Suriya and the shoot of the film is in the final stages. The film is expected to release later this year. The latest news is that Venky Atluri will direct Siddhu Jonnalagadda very soon. But this time, it is not for a feature film and it is for a web series. Netflix has given their nod for the project.

Sithara Entertainments, the production house that is backing the films of Siddhu and Venky Atluri, will bankroll the web series in association with Netflix. An official announcement will be made soon. Venky Atluri also recently narrated a script to Nani and got his nod. The film will start rolling next year after Nani completes The Paradise and Bloody Romeo. Siddhu Jonnalagadda will soon work with Swaroop RSJ and an announcement was made recently.
