DJ Tillu is one small film that caught everyone’s attention and the film is hitting the screens in February. Debutant Vimal Krishna directed DJ Tillu and the film has Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Neha Shetty in the lead roles. The trailer of the film is released and it sounds like a perfect feast for the youth. The entertainment sounds hilarious and Siddhu is flawless as DJ Tillu. Neha Shetty looks glamorous as Radhika in the film and the story revolves around her role. The music is already widely popular and Thaman is working on the background score.
Brahmaji and Prince will be seen in other important roles. The romantic thread seems to be the major highlight of DJ Tillu and Siddhu plays a role of a DJ who falls in love with a girl who cheats him. The production values are good and DJ Tillu seems to be an interesting film among the February releases. The trailer is well packed and keeps good expectations on the film. DJ Tillu makers ink a Surprise Deal
DJ Tillu is one small film that is trending because of the teaser and the songs. The released singles are smashing hits and are trending all over. Touted to be a youthful romantic entertainer, DJ Tillu features Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Neha Shetty in the lead roles. The makers closed the non-theatrical rights of the film well in advance and they now inked a surprising deal. The entire theatrical rights of the film are picked up for Rs 6.3 crores which is huge considering the cast, crew and the film’s budget.
Sithara Entertainments made huge profits through DJ Tillu even before the film’s release. Radhakrishna Entertainment which released Akhanda, Shyam Singha Roy and Bangarraju in USA acquired the entire theatrical rights of DJ Tillu. The film is expected to hit the screens on February 12th and an announcement will be made soon. Vimal Krishna is making his directorial debut with DJ Tillu.
Neha Shetty sizzles as ‘Pataas Pilla’ in DJ Tillu
Neha Shetty is one of the happening heroines of Tollywood. The actress, who did Mehbooba with Puri Jagannadh and Gully Rowdy with Sundeep Kishan, has become the favourite of many youngsters.
And now, the actress is doing a youthful role in DJ Tillu, a film which has Siddhu as protagonist. A song from the movie, titled Pataas Pilla, has been released and Neha grabs attention in it. Neha sizzles in a black saree and adds oomph value to the song which is sure to grab eyeballs.
The song composed by Sricharan Pakala and written by Kittu Vissapragada has been crooned by music composer Anirudh Ravichander. Besides Siddhu and Neha Shetty, Prince Cecil, Brahmaji, Pragathi and Narra Srinivas play key roles in TJ Tillu. The film which has story and screenplay by Vimal Krishna and Siddhu is directed by Vimal Krishna and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi on Sithara Entertainments banner.
Three Tollywood films in Sankranthi 2022 Race?
There are strong talks that RRR and Radhe Shyam will not the screens as per the plan during Sankranthi 2022 because of the restrictions in North India. Several states are imposing night curfews and theatres are asked to operate with 50 percent occupancy. If the situations continue to be alarming, the team of RRR will postpone the release date. A clarity about this is expected before this weekend. Several Tollywood filmmakers are making arrangements to release their films during the Sankranthi holiday season if RRR and Radhe Shyam fail to hit the screens.
Dil Raju is in plans to release his nephew Ashish’s debut film Rowdy Boys for Sankranthi. Sithara Entertainments produced DJ Tillu with Sidhu Jonnalagadda and the film too is aimed for Sankranthi release. Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya starter Bangarraju is aimed for January 15th 2022 release. Bangarraju, Rowdy Boys and DJ Tillu will release for Sankranthi 2022 if RRR, Radhe Shyam fails to release during the holiday season.
DJ Tillu Teaser: Siddhu’s Show All The Way!
As we know, Siddhu Jonnalagadda is a good performer and also a talented writer. He indeed worked in writing department for his previous films as well. The young hero wrote dialogues alone, while he along with his director Vimal Krishna has penned story and screenplay for DJ Tillu teaser of which is unveiled just a while ago.
Going by the teaser which is protagonist centric, Siddhu plays a happy go lucky guy who feels playing music at Bonalu and Jathara is a real DJ job than working at a posh areas like clubs. This spoiled youngster is in love with Neha Shetty. There’s everything other than the love thing between the two and they are caught red-handed kissing each other in car and cops are after them.
It’s Siddhu’s show all the way and his Hyderabad slang makes the teaser an interesting watch. It’s just a teaser, but it promises the film is going to be a fun ride from start to end.
