Naresh and Pavithra’s recent Malli Pelli film landed into legal complications after his second wife Ramya Raghupathi launched an injunction suit in civil court claiming to seek a stay order of the film’s release in theatres and also on OTT platforms stating that the film has defamed her image and projected her image bad.

City Civil Court after hearing both sides arguments dismissed the case filed by Ramya Raghupati. Court believed that the film Malli Pelli is completely fictional and so as certified by the Board of Film Certification. Thus, the court stated that there is no objection on the movie being streamed on channels, theatres or OTT platforms. Court also imposed a ban on Ramya from entering Naresh’s residence. Both Ramya and Naresh are staying away from each other for nearly six years.

Malli Pelli, a film starring naresh and Pavitra made lot of noise when it was released in last month.Because of the recent exposure the couple had received, there was a lot of excitement surrounding the film’s OTT release.

Just on the day Malli Pelli’s release in OTT, Narssh’ ex wife ramya filed a court petition against it. What the court will rule in relation to this issue remains to be seen. The film was initially planned to stream in Amazon Prime and Aha and now with the court issue prime is not streaming the film.

Now aha is streaming the film and thos those who missed it in theatres can watch the film only on aha. The film attracted a lot of interest from viewers, and now thier only chance to catch the film is Aha.

Naresh produced the film and ace producer MS Raju directed the film. Malli Pelli stars Jayasudha, Sarathbabu, Vanitha Vijayakumar, Ananya Nagalla, and Madhoo in important roles.

Vijaya Krishna Movies established together by superstar Krishna and the legendary filmmaker and actor Vijaya Nirmala made many unconventional movies. The banner is revived by Vijaya Nirmala’s son Naresh with Malli Pelli co-starring Pavitra Lokesh and was directed by MS Raju.

Malli Pelli is a golden jubilee project for Naresh as well as Vijaya Krishna Movies. Naresh decided to make some rebellious kind of movies under the banner and Malli Pelli is the first attempt. It’s a prestige issue for Naresh to protect the goodwill of the production banner. So, the success of the movie is crucial for the actor.

Naresh, along with Pavitra Lokesh and MS Raju is promoting the movie aggressively and the boldness of the lead pair favoured the movie big time to create excitement.
