Mallu Bhatti meets Chinna Jeeyar, what’s up?

0

Telangana Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Thursday met seer Chinna Jeeyar Swamy along with his family members. Bhatti’s visit to Jeeyar’s ashram near Shamshabad all of a sudden created a buzz in political circles.

This is because Jeeyar Swamy is known to be very close to TRS chief and Telangana Chief Minister KCR.

KCR visited Swamy’s ashram only three days ago. Bhatti visiting soon after raised eyebrows.

Although Bhatti later claimed that he visited ashram only to seek his blessings and know about soon to be unveiled one of largest statues in the world of Ramanuja Charya in his ashram in February by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it did not douse the political speculations.

The reason Bhatti never visited or met Jeeyar Swamy in recent times. There is already rumours doing rounds in Telangana Congress that Bhatti is moving closer to KCR after Revanth Reddy was appointed as TPCC chief.

Bhatti is reportedly angry at Revanth’s appointment as TPCC chief who is very junior to him in Congress and is planning to quit Congress anytime to join TRS.

KCR too selected Bhatti’s constituency Madhira to implement Dalit Bandhu scheme on a pilot basis before March, the only opposition MLA to get this scheme.

Against this backdrop, Bhatti meeting Jeeyar Swamy became a hot debate in political circles.

Why Mallu Bhatti became beloved leader for TRS?

0

Telangana Congress Legislature Party (CLP ) leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramaraka has become a beloved leader for TRS these days.

TRS chief and Telangana CM K.Chandrashekar Rao released double the amount to implement Dalit Bandhu scheme in Bhatti’s Madhira constituency.

KCR released Rs 50 crore each to three Assembly constituencies represented by TRS MLAs to implement Dalit Bandhu on Sunday last but released Rs 100 crore to Madhira Assembly constituency represented by Mallu Bhatti.

KCR’s son and TRS working president K.T.Rama Rao also showered praises on Mallu Bhatti during an informal chat with media persons at Telangana Bhavan on Tuesday (today).

KTR said Mallu Bhatti is a ‘good human being’ and a ‘good leader’ but these days only ‘scamsters’ like Revanth Reddy are making it big in Telangana Congress.

KTR said Mallu Bhatti was sidelined after Revanth took over.

Now the question arises why KCR and KTR are so much concerned and worried about Mallu Bhatti when Mallu Bhatti did not speak anywhere against Revanth nor said that he was sidelined. He was attending all the meetings held by Revanth Reddy.

Why KCR and KTR are forgetting that Congress made Mallu Bhatti as Leader of Opposition in Telangana Legislative Assembly soon after 2018 December Assembly polls but KCR stripped Mallu Bhatti of LoP status by engineering split in CLP and merging CLP with TRSLP.

But still, KCR and KTR are trying to send a message that they love Mallu Bhatti more than Congress leaders fuelling speculations that they want Mallu to quit Congress and join TRS.

But will Mallu Bhatti forget and forgive KCR and KTR for humiliating him by stripping him of LoP status and joining TRS is the million dollar question.

Strange: KCR gives appointment to Cong MLAs to enter Pragathi Bhavan

1

In a strange development, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Friday gave appointment to Congress MLAs to enter Pragathi Bhavan and meet him.

CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka along with few party MLAs sought KCR’s appointment to submit a representation seeking probe into recentv lockup death of dalit woman Mariyamma.

The CMO officials confirmed appointment and asked Congress MLAs to meet him at 5pm.

Not only Congress, leaders from all other opposition parties could not believe their ears that KCR gave appointment.

This is because KCR never gave appointment to any opposition leader except Owaisi brothers of AIMIM in the past seven years since he became CM in 2014.

After Etela Rajender’s ouster from TRS in May, a significant change is seen in KCR’s style of functioning.

He is touring districts frequently and meeting people against his image of confining himself to Pragathi Bhavan or farmhouse all the time.

Congress `Young Turks’ mission to dethrone TRS

0

Congress Young Turks

A batch of young Congress leaders from Telangana, who were concerned that the present senior leadership failing to counter TRS government effectively, are coming together to strengthen party’s base and ensure people to rally around the party by 2009 polls. Reflecting `Young Turks’ who provided dynamic support to Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in early 70s, are now said to be working out with the active support from party vice president Rahul Gandhi’s team.

Discontented with the senior leaders’s `soft’ attitude towards ruling-TRS’s mischievous attempts to virtually `finish’ opposition parties in the state, are strategically moving to transform the party as a formidable challenger by 2019 polls.

It may be recalled that leaders like former union minister S Jaipal Reddy and leader of opposition K Jana Reddy are hardly confine themselves to the media events. In view of their age also, these young leaders’ fears that after them a big leadership vacuum may makes the party suffer.

Telangana Congress Committee working President and MLA Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka is said to be leading light of this `Young Turk’ group. Already they have met twice informally and planning to meet after the conclusion of ongoing winter session of the Assembly to chalk out their course of action.

They have decided to visit all the districts to create awareness among people on the anti-people policies of the state government. For this purpose, they have already mobilised about Rs 2 crore fund, each contributing Rs 10 lakh.

They are claiming that their efforts are voluntarily only to save the party and also people from TRS government, but not expecting any positions in the party.

“We will win Warangal bypoll hands down” — Bhatti interview

0

[intro]Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka,Telangana PCC working president,is confident of winning Warangal Lok Sabha seat in ensuing byelection. He says Congress will take on the mighty TRS with corruption as main plank. An Alumnus of Hyderabad Central University, Bhatti is one of the promising leaders of Telangana. He spoke to T360 from Wardhannapet, where he was attending an election preparatory meeting yesterday.Warangal Lok Sabha bypoll is necessitated by the resignation of Kadiam Srihari, who replaced Rajaiah as deputy CM in KCR cabinet.[/intro]

Q. Do you have enough strength to take on mighty TRS, which is a ruling party, in Warangal LS by-election.
Bhatti : Congress has strongest base in Telangana. Losing election in2014 doesn’t mean end of the road. People believe that it was Congress which was responsible for Telangana state. While Congress was busy with impressing upon the high command, KCR used the mass movement for Telangana to produce a false impression that he was the leader of the movement. If you remember well, after 2012, he gave up the movement and asked people,” give 100 MLAs and 15 MPs, I will get Telangana.” Around this time, we were busy in convincing Party president Sonia and finally succeeded. He was in election campaign, while we worked behind the screens for the statehood. So, people saw KCR and his manipulative politics. Congress lagged behind. We are a force in Telangana. Warangal by-election will prove this.

Q. What do you want to tell people in Warangal, in the face KCR’s massive governmental programs?
Bhatti: We want to expose KCR establishment as an anti-people, corrupt and family rule in Telangana. The election was thurst on people because of his corruption and dictatorial attitude as well as his arrogance. What is the reason for the election? Earlier deputy chief minister T Rajaiah was removed on the pretext that he was corrupt. If Rajaiah was corrupt, where was the action against him? Why didn’t you book a case against him under prevention of corruption act? If CM was so serious about eradicating corruption, why didn’t you institute an inquiry into the charges of corruption against your daughter -MP Kavita, Son-minister K T Ramarao, another minister Jagadish Reddy. It’s all convenience. Something unpalatable happened between vocal Rajaiah and KR. He was removed and the election is thrust. You brought Kadiyam from Lok Sabha and made him MLC necessitating the election. Whose money you are spending on elections? We will place this before the people.

Q.what is your main plank for Warangal by-election?
Bhatti: Rampant corruption in the state government.

Q. Can you elaborate on the subject?
Bhatti: Telangana government has become a haven of corruption. He (KCR) is using irrigation sector as a conduit for his corruption. His modus operandi is to abandon the pending and on-going projects and plan new ones to award them to new contractors. New project is a lucrative decision. Look at the Pranahita-Chevella project. Centre assured it would take up the project as national project if there was no change in design . National project means centre bears 90 pc expenditure and state only 10 pc. The project was designed to give water to seven districts in the state as well as Greater Hyderabad. He doesn’t want this and changes the design, which would deny water to Rangareddy. In the name of getting water to Ranga Reddy he plans a new project, Rangareddy-palamuru with Rs 35,250 crore, which has no clearance from the centre. Also, it would benefit only three districts. Why take up a project which has no permission and abandon the one approved by the centre? There might have been some ulterior motive. We tell people about the corrupt motives of TRS government and its chief minister.

Q. What is the Congress stand on water-grid being taken up by TRS government?
Bhatti: It is not a water-grid but commision-grid. Telangana state government has taken up Telangana Water Grid on the pretext to resolve drinking water problem at a whopping cost Rs.25, 000 crore. It proposes to use 80 TMC water each from Godavari and Krishna rivers. It’s all fraud. The project was being taken up for his son and panchayati Raj minister KT Ramarao’s benefit. It’s another project meant to squander public money away.
