Venkatesh joins the sets of Naarappa

Victory Venkatesh has been idle for the past seven months and the shoot of his upcoming movie Naarappa came to a halt. The film is the remake of Tamil blockbuster film Asuran and Venky sports a rugged look with a white beard in the film. The shoot of Naarappa resumed today in Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad. The short schedule will commence for a week with which 80% of the shoot will be completed. All the social distancing guidelines are strictly followed on the sets of Naarappa.

Venkatesh is expected to shoot for the flashback episodes of Naarappa next month and he will be seen in a new young look for the role and schedule. The entire flashback episodes will be completed in a single schedule in Tamil Nadu with which the entire shoot of Naarappa will be completed. Srikanth Addala is the director and Priyamani is the leading lady. S Thanu and Suresh Babu are the producers. Naarappa will have its theatrical release in summer 2021.

Venky wraps up Naarappa Schedule

When the shoots of Telugu films are halted, Victory Venkatesh had to shoot for a couple of days more in Tamil Nadu and a crucial schedule of Naarappa got wrapped up last night. Venky along with the team returned back to Hyderabad this morning. The last schedule of Naarappa will commence once the coronavirus comes under control.

Naarappa is aimed for May 8th release but the film’s release may be pushed if the situations do not turn better in a week. Naarappa is the remake of Asuran, a Tamil blockbuster film. Srikanth Addala is the director and Priyamani is the leading lady. Suresh Productions and V Creations are the producers.

Venky plays a safe game with Naarappa

Top producer Suresh Babu acquired the remake rights of Tamil blockbuster film Asuran. Victory Venkatesh is playing the lead role in the film which is titled Naarappa. Srikanth Addala is on board as the director of the film and the shoot of Naarappa is happening in Anantapur district. Suresh Babu screened the Tamil version for several celebrities and Tollywood directors. Though he received different opinions, Suresh Babu decided to go with the original theme that had strong emotions.

Srikanth Addala has been asked to be loyal to the original (Asuran) without changing a single scene. Suresh Babu also decided to wrap up the film’s shoot in a strict budget of Rs 10-12 crores excluding Venky’s remuneration. Srikanth Addala will be sharing the profits and will not take any remuneration home before the film’s release. Naarappa is a safe bet for Venky and Suresh Babu considering the budget and the script. Suresh Babu will have to share the profits for V Creations who produced Asuran. Naarappa is slated for May release this year.

While some of them compared the looks of Dhanush with Venkatesh, the others argued to stop comparison between Venky and Dhanush. Terrific response for Naarappa First Look

The other day the title of Venkatesh starrer Asuran remake was out. With nothing much to do, the makers unveiled the title along with the first look featuring Venkatesh from the rugged action thriller. The regular shoot commences today and the film is titled Naarappa. Venkatesh looks fearless with intense eyes in the released posters. He transforms himself perfectly for the role in the film. 

Venky will be seen in two different roles in this action drama and the other one is kept under wraps as of now. Srikanth Addala is the director and Priyamani is the leading lady. Suresh Productions and V Creations are the producers. Naarappa is aimed for release during mid-summer this year. The entire shoot will be completed in quick back to back schedules.
