The shooting formalities of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ambitious period drama Syeraa Narasimha Reddy, which chronicles the life history of unsung freedom fighter Uyyalawada from Kurnool, are likely to be wrapped up in ten days. The principal shooting begun last year and it was extensively shot in various locations of South India with a staggering budget.

The final schedule is currently on in Hyderabad and the makers are planning to wrap up the remaining portions by the end of this month. They are eyeing a grand release worldwide in October. The film boasts an ensemble cast in the form of Nayanatara, Amithab Bachchan, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Tamannah in prominent roles. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film is coming from the stables of Ram Charan’s Konidela Productions.

The theatrical trailer of this highly anticipated film is expected to be out on Chiranjeevi’s birthday this August. Trade circles are betting on this 200 Crore budget magnum opus.

A bunch of top rated writers worked hard for over three years after which Megastar Chiranjeevi approved the script of his magnum opus Syeraa which is in final stages of shoot. Surendar Reddy is the director and Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara will be essaying other crucial roles. Megastar plays Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy and Syeraa is set in the backdrop of pre-independence. Uyyalavada is known for revolting against the British and he played a crucial role in getting Independence for the country.

There are speculations that the climax episodes are changed and some of the media houses reported that Tamannaah who plays a role with negative shades will kill Uyyalavada in the film. But going with the news, Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy was hung by the Britishers before the country got independence. Considering the content and Megastar’s image, the writers penned an iconic climax for the movie. Surendar Reddy presented it in his own style and the movie ends with the demise of Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy. The movie unit was extremely happy with the way the climax came out.

Syeraa is rumored to release during this Dasara and is produced by Konidela Production Company.

The makers of Syeraa are in plans to wrap up the shoot of the film at the earliest and Ram Charan issued an ultimatum to Surendar Reddy regarding this. There is excessive post-production work to be done which consumes months. The VFX work needs ample time and several top VFX studios are already working on it. Charan is in plan to release the film after he gets satisfied with the output.

Going into the news, the team of Syeraa removed some of the episodes during the scripting stage to save the film’s budget. Though the writers penned some episodes, Surendar Reddy and his team removed those which they feel were not necessary. Bollywood music director Amit Trivedi composed five songs for the film and two of them are background numbers. Though the audio album has 5 songs, the audience will get to witness only four songs.

The last song will not be canned and will be restricted to audio album only. Ram Charan, on the whole, took enough measures to cut down the budget with some simple tricks. Syeraa is made on a budget of Rs 200 crores and it is produced by Konidela Production Company.

The shooting of the film ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ was blocked by Muslim Youth in the town of Bidar. A tense atmosphere was created around the location with the Muslim Youth fiercely opposing the use of Hindu idols in the Muslim praying area in the Bahmani Sultan Castle. Muslims agitated in front of the residence of Bidar district officer for the removal of Hindu idols.

Being a historical film with a huge casting, the sets for this movie have been set up in Bahmani castle. The protestors are demanding to file a complaint against movie director Surender Reddy and Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep. Even though the archaeological department gave permission, with the protest, the police removed the idols from the shooting location.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a historical war movie starring Chiranjeevi, Amitabh Bachchan and Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep and other popular actors. With the tense atmosphere around the castle, precautionary measures have been taken around the fort.

The makers are in plans to announce things officially at the earliest to avoid clash with other Telugu movies. Once the release date of Syeraa will be out, all the other Tollywood movies will give ways for the film to get a smooth release during Dasara.

The shoot of the film has been delayed by months and Megastar too kept on putting huge weight in this process.

Though Koratala’s project has been planned to start in January 2019, the delay in Syeraa left Koratala in waiting mode. Though Allu Arjun was quite interested to team up with Koratala, the top director preferred Megastar over Allu Arjun.

If Koratala locked Bunny over Megastar, the shoot of the film would have been half done by now. Allu Arjun too is left puzzled about his next and is idle from the past six months. With nothing much to do, Koratala Siva is busy penning the scripts of his next films waiting for Megastar.
