Venkatesh wraps up dubbing for his part in ‘F3’
Venkatesh Daggubati, also known as ‘Victory’ Venkatesh in Telugu, took to social media to share an interesting update on his upcoming comedy entertainer ‘F3’.
The ‘Guru’ actor, who has completed his dubbing work, shared a photo from the studio, stating that he is excited to meet the audience on May 9, the day the makers will unveil the theatrical trailer for the fun-bomb film.
Venkatesh’s post reads, “Wrapped up dubbing for #F3Trailer! Super excited to share it with you all on May 9th”.
Star actor Venkatesh and young actor Varun Tej are reuniting for ‘F3’, as their combo was a super hit affair in ‘F2’. Tamannaah Bhatia, Mehreen Pirzada, and Sonali Chauhan star in the film, which is directed by Anil Ravipudi.
Devi Sri Prasad composed the music for the film, which is produced by Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. The film will be released in theatres on May 27, 2022.
Pooja Hegde will be seen in a special number, while other actors will be seen in significant roles.
F3’s Theatrical Trailer Date Locked
Cine goers are having blast, this summer, with many noted films of star heroes arriving in theatres in next few weeks. Venkatesh and Varun Tej’s F3 is one among the most awaited movies releasing in summer. Directed by Anil Ravipudi under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, F3 is scheduled for theatrical release on May 27th. In the meantime, promotions are in full swing for the movie.
They have also locked theatrical trailer date. It will be out on May 9th, as informed by the makers. Needless to say, the trailer will be full of hilarity and glitz. The film features Tamannaah, Mehreen Pirzada and Sonal Chauhan playing the leading ladies.
Expectations are quite high on F3, since it’s the franchise of blockbuster F2 and two songs released so far by the makers got fantastic response.
Venky’s Bollywood comeback confirmed
Victory Venkatesh is done with the shoot of F3 and the film is gearing up for May release. The actor is also busy with a web series with his nephew Rana Daggubati. Venky has been frequently flying to Mumbai and there are speculations about his Bollywood comeback. The film is locked now and Venkatesh will share the screen with Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan. It was Salman Khan who proposed the name of Venkatesh and the Tollywood star agreed for the same. Venkatesh heard the final narration recently and he signed the project.
The film is said to be an action-comedy and it will be directed by Farhad Samji. Sajid Nadiadwala will bankroll this prestigious multi-starrer and the shoot commences early next year. The female leads and the other actors, and technicians are finalized currently. An official announcement about the same would be made soon.

Venkatesh Daggubati and Varun Tej’s upcoming fun-filled entertainer ‘F3’ is scheduled to hit the screens on May 27.
The makers, who took to their social media profiles on Monday, announced the release date, sharing a poster featuring Venkatesh and Varun Tej.
“Dear children, please wrap up your exams and elders, you please gear up for the summer fun!!! We have fixed a date for your summer celebrations!!,” the makers tweeted.
“No change in date Anymore! Most Awaited FUN Franchise #F3Movie ON MAY 27th.”
Touted to be a complete fun ride, ‘F3’ directed by Anil Ravipudi will revolve around the greed of the lead actors.
As ‘F3’ is a franchise of Anil Ravipudi’s blockbuster hit ‘F2’, the movie has Tamannah Bhatia and Mehreen Pirzada play the female leads opposite Venkatesh and Varun Tej, respectively.
While Sonal Chauhan is roped in to play another important role in the movie, Rajendra Prasad, Sunil, and others will appear in other lead roles.
‘Pushpa’ music director Devi Sri Prasad composes the music.

Victory Venkatesh has chosen an action path after years with Narappa, the remake of Tamil critically acclaimed film Asuran. The film is helmed by Sreekanth Addala and Priyamani, Naren, Nassar, Rao Ramesh, Rajeev Kanakala played the other important roles. The trailer hinted that Narappa is a faithful remake for Narappa and the film skipped the theatrical release. Narappa is now streaming on Amazon Prime. Here is the complete review of the film:
Story:
There is a property dispute between Narappa (Venkatesh) and Pandu Swamy (Naren). Things turn big as the years pass after Narappa’s elder son Munikanna (Karthik Ratnam) steps into a physical fight with Pandu Swamy and his son. Shattered with this, Pandu Swamy and his family assassinate Munikanna. With Narappa unable to take an act of revenge, his younger son Seenabba (Rakhi) kills Pandu Swamy. It is then, Narappa steps into action to save his son. The rest of the film is all about the battle and a revenge drama of a father to save his son. Watch Narappa to know about the rest.
Analysis:
Narappa is a revenge story and it is laced with social elements and castism. The film is inspired by several real-life incidents. Dhanush who played the lead role in the original won a national award for his outstanding performance in the film. Narappa is a shot to shot copy of Asuran and the makers decided to stick to the original and play safe. All those who never watched Asuran will feel the new experience through Narappa. The entire first half is narrated on an interesting note. The interval action episode takes the film to the next level. Venkatesh did an outstanding job throughout the film offering a new experience to the audience in a role he never played.
Narappa also has various sub-plots and they are narrated in an interesting manner. The flashback episodes in the second half are emotional and action-packed. But the second half of Narappa is boring at times. Venky’s young look is not appealing though he looked perfect in the other look with grey shades. Dhanush looked perfect in the flashback episodes as he is a youngster. The makers also played it safe without naming a particular caste throughout the film. The climax portions look decent and the film ends up on a convincing note. The second half looks lengthy and slow-paced because of the detailed narration.
Performances:
Venkatesh slipped well into the role of Narappa. His look is well designed and he roars loud in the action episodes. His expressions in the emotional episodes have been top class. Right from his look to his dialogue delivery is subtle and new for the Telugu audience. Priyamani looks perfect in the role of Sundaramma, the wife of Narappa. She delivered her best in the movie. Karthik Ratnam looks good in his crisp role. Rakhi looks natural in his assignment. Naren, Rao Ramesh, Rajeev Kanakala and Nassar did justice for their roles.
Narappa is a script that has the right emotions and scope for intense action. Though the story is presented to be a take on casteism, it is a clean revenge drama. The screenplay and the dialogues are decent. Manisharma’s music is good and the background score is top class. The production values are good enough and the technical aspects supported the film well. Sreekantha Addala understood Asuran and he managed to direct Narappa as a faithful remake.
Verdict:
Narappa is a faithful remake of Asuran and Venkatesh delivers his best. The second half sounds lengthy and slow-paced after a gripping first half.

Rana Daggubati, Raja Kumari’s musical tribute to Venkatesh Daggubati
Actor Rana Daggubati along with Grammy-nominated Indian-American rapper and songwriter Raja Kumari paid a special musical tribute to Southern superstar Venkatesh Daggubati on his 60th birthday.
On his birthday, Rana’s newly launched Southbay released “Attention Everybody”, which is sung by Raja Kumari. It is a reprised version of the maestro Ilaiyaraaja’s original song “Attention Everybody” from the Telugu movie “Coolie No 1”. The song also marks the debut of Raja Kumari into Telugu singing.
“Growing up, Venkatesh was my favourite hero in the house. It feels almost full circle to celebrate his birthday in this manner with my very first Telugu song,” Kumari said.
She continued: “I originally wanted to title the track ‘Victory’ instead of ‘Attention Everybody’, though at its very core this track is an anthem that celebrates the spirit of triumph, abundance and celebration. The process of finally singing in my mother tongue was the most rewarding experience.”
“Going forward Rana and I are quite eager to build and nurture the independent pop Telugu scene by putting out more songs in this style and also discover talented Telugu rappers and artists that we can collaborate with. I hope my fans and Telugu family are happy around the world,” she added.
Talking about the song, Rana said: “Style Swag and everything I learnt was from him! Couldn’t find a better start to bring out the first South Bay T-Pop song than aAttention-Everybody’! Best one for his fans who loved the old one and working with Raja Kumari truly brought about an international vibe to the song and was happiest to bring her to rap and sing in Telugu.”
Venky’s salt and pepper look is a surprise
Victory Venkatesh is one actor who mostly never experiments on his looks. The veteran actor will be seen in a new look in his next film Naarappa which is the remake of Asuran. Venkatesh posted a video educating the people to maintain social distancing and wear face masks during this coronavirus time. He was spotted with a grey hair and a thick white beard which left his fans and Tollywood audience in surprise.
The actor has to shoot for some of the portions of Naarappa in this look for a week and has been maintaining the same for some time. Venky will wrap up the portions of Naarappa next month after which he will move to the shoot of F3 from December. Anil Ravipudi will direct F3 and Venkatesh, Varun Tej are the lead actors. Dil Raju is on board to produce F3.
Venky wraps up Naarappa Schedule
When the shoots of Telugu films are halted, Victory Venkatesh had to shoot for a couple of days more in Tamil Nadu and a crucial schedule of Naarappa got wrapped up last night. Venky along with the team returned back to Hyderabad this morning. The last schedule of Naarappa will commence once the coronavirus comes under control.
Naarappa is aimed for May 8th release but the film’s release may be pushed if the situations do not turn better in a week. Naarappa is the remake of Asuran, a Tamil blockbuster film. Venky’s long-delayed project back on track
Victory Venkatesh is super happy with the response his recent offering Venky Mama received. The actor is in talks with a bunch of films and he is all excited to start his next film which is the remake of Asuran. The film will be directed by Srikanth Addala and will start rolling early next year. Venky is preparing himself on his looks and he will complete the project in record time.
Venkatesh was in talks with Trinadha Rao Nakkina for an action drama from the past one year. Venky was not completely convinced with the script and suggested several changes. Though there were speculations that the project is shelved, the latest news we hear is that the project is next in the pipeline. Trinadha Rao after making several changes narrated the final draft and got the nod from Venky.
The film will start from the second half of 2020 and Venky plays the role of a cop in this high voltage action thriller. Venkatesh is also in talks with Tharun Bhascker for an interesting film that is in scripting stage currently.
Venky – Tharun film takes a backseat
The Telugu remake of ‘Asuran’ will be Venkatesh’s next movie. The senior Daggubati star informed the media today that he is kicked about to this intense movie. He loved ‘Asuran’ and has immediately given his dates to the remake on a priority basis.
With this Venky’s move, director Tharun Bhaskar will have to for many months. Tharun had already impressed Venkatesh with a story but he has not finished the script in time. So, Venkatesh has preferred ‘Asuran’ remake over Tharun’s movie that is set in the backdrop of the Malakapet race club.

Will Venky fit into the shoes of Asuran Remake?
In a surprising announcement, Suresh Productions announced that they acquired the remake rights of Dhanush’s recent cult classic Asuran. The film is expected to be remade with Venkatesh and the makers are in hunt for the right director to do justice for the project. A series of screenings have been held for several young directors and Suresh Babu collected the feedback of Venkatesh essaying a rustic, de-glam role in the raw village-based action drama.
It is heard that Suresh Babu mostly received negative feedback as most of them who watched the film clarified that Venkatesh doesn’t fit into the role essayed by Dhanush. The lead actor should undergo a huge transformation and the script should be changed completely considering Telugu audience. A team of writers are working on the script making changes to suit the Tollywood audience. As of now, Suresh Babu and Venkatesh haven’t decided on the remake. Asuran directed by Vetrimaaran emerged as the biggest hit in Dhanush’s career. The film is a raw action drama which impressed the Tamil audience big time.
Venkatesh faces a mid-life crisis
Venkatesh is turning 60 this December 13. He still maintains great physique but Venkatesh prefers to do roles that are closer to his age. In his next film, he will be playing a guy facing the mid-life crisis.
In director Tharun Bhascker’s next movie, Venkatesh is playing such a role. The movie is set in the backdrop of the Malakapet Race club. Venky will also pair up with a matured heroine. The news has been confirmed by Tharun Bhascker.
Buzz is that the film will have Venky uttering Hyderabadi lingo. Suresh Babu will produce it and the regular shoot will commence in February 2020.
Venky Mama gets a new Release Date
Victory Venkatesh and his nephew Naga Chaitanya are teaming up for the first time for an emotional family drama Venky Mama. The shoot of the film is in final stages and Venky Mama was initially announced for Dasara release. But with the delay in the shoot and some of the schedules postponed, Venky Mama is missing the Dasara season.
As per the latest update, the film will release on October 25th across the globe. KS Ravindra (Bobby) is the director and Rashi Khanna, Payal Rajput are the leading ladies. Suresh Productions and People Media Factory are the producers. Venky and Chaitu essays the roles of uncle and nephew in this comic entertainer. SS Thaman is scoring the music.
