Top financier, distributor and producer Asian Suniel has been in film business for the past few decades. He has been elected as the President of Telangana State Film Chamber of Commerce for the third consecutive term recently and a press conference was held. Asian Suniel has submitted his resignation today. He said that his name was forcefully associated with the public statements, and they are not connected to him. Hence, Asian Suniel has decided to step down from the role. He said that he was never consulted before making the public statements, and he is not responsible for any actions or comments.

He requested the Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce to accept his resignation. He said that it would be difficult to continue in the role and he asked the Chamber to find a suitable successor to ensure the smooth functioning of the organisation. Asian Suniel has invested big money in theatres and he has been collaborating with top Tollywood stars in the multiplex business. He is closely associated with Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Ravi Teja and Vijay Deverakonda and is expanding Asian Cinemas. He produced Dhanush’s Kubera which happens to be the most awaited June release. Sekhar Kammula is the director and the film releases on June 20th
