It looks like the BJP is coming down all guns blazing at the TDP in the state. Its new mantra, Butter and Bitter are exposing Telugu Desam Party from inside out. With TDP stalling the Parliament for 5 days in a row, the BJP is coming down hard from the opposite side.
After Minister Sujana Chowdary met Modi, political circles felt that being a national party, there is no way BJP would bow down before TDP’s demands. Likewise, even Jaitley promised that the concerns raised by TDP over AP will be soon sorted out. Just as it seemed everything was going on bizarrely, the AP BJP leaders lashed out at CM Chandrababu and TDP.
BJP clearly pretended to be pro-CM Babu in the Centre, while it ensured its AP State leaders expose CM Babu and TDP at the state. Joining Somu Veerraju, BJP leader Kanna Lakshmi Narayana took the attack to TDP this time. He questioned, why TDP even failed to submit the DPR (Detailed Project Reports) of the capital, and how the Centre-sanctioned sum of Rs 2500 crores was spent.
Kanna Lakshmi Narayana further alleged that ‘Chandrababu is spending the exchequer’s money. He is only burdening the coming man with his spending. He is further making AP, a debt-ridden stated, with unwanted International tours in private aircrafts.
The treatment from BJP towards TDP is a clear classic example of, one hand is buttery, while the other is bitter.
