TDP Leader Revanth Reddy in talks with Congress?

0

Kodangal MLA A Revanth Reddy will be defecting into Congress in Telangana, while exodus of leaders to TDP continues in Andhra Pradesh. If reports are to believed, the Telangana TDP working president who has been requesting opposition parties to unite in the fight against ruling TRS, could become a major political player for TPCC anytime soon.

Congress is a party without a tough leader and Revanth is a strong leader in a non-existent party in Telangana. He is best known for countering TRS with his strong verbal attacks.

As per the sources of TNIE, Congress leader Jaipal Reddy is holding negotiations with the TDP leader on behalf of the leadership. S Jaipal Reddy is Revanth’s wife’s uncle.

Even though Revanth denied rumours of going into Congress, he is confident that the TDP supremo will not take decision of merging TDP with TRS in Telangana against his wishes.

On the other hand, the TTDP leader’s sudden visit to the national capital Delhi on Monday created buzz in political circles. Nonetheless Revanth has not closed his doors for other options, considering his political future.

Why is PM Modi silent on Jay Shah controversy, asks Congress

0

The Congress on Thursday questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s silence on the allegations of a scam against BJP president Amit Shah’s son, and demanded that Shah step down in order to facilitate a probe.

Addressing a press conference in Panaji at the party state headquarters All India Congress Committee spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi also said that the functioning of Jay Shah co-owned company, Temple Enterprise Pvt. Ltd allegedly mirrored the standard operating procedure of a shell company and must be investigated as part of the Prime Minister’s campaign against shell companies.

“For the sake of probity, for the sake of what Modi stood for. If there is nothing to hide, what stops Amit Shah from stepping down and allowing a probe to happen; a probe which will perhaps clear his son. But we must always remember, Caesar’s wife should be above suspicion,” Chaturvedi told reporters.

“Why is it that the Prime Minister is protecting him? What stops the PM from seeking accountability from a person he is closest to? And someone who perhaps compromises his entire branding of zero tolerance to corruption,” she said.

“Why, when the Prime Minister is saying he is running after the shell companies and shutting down shell companies, isn’t this a standard operating procedure of a shell company and why should not that come under investigation?” she also said, accusing the central government of running away from an investigation.

An online portal alleged that Jay Shah’s company’s turnover grew from Rs 50,000 to Rs 80.5 crore in a 2015-16, within one year, after obtaining an unsecured loan from a non banking financial institution.

Kiran Kumar Reddy to rejoin Congress party?

0

Is ex Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Kiran Kumar Reddy all set to rejoin Congress party? Is he currently in discussions with Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi regarding the same? Will he be offered AICC post? This is the debate going on in political circles currently.

Kiran Kumar Reddy became CM for then united state Andhra Pradesh amidst high political uncertainty in the state. After Jagan Reddy’s rebellion against high-command of ruling Congress party, the bigwigs at 10 Janpath decided to give the high post to Kiran who also hail from Rayalaseema region like Jagan and who also belong to Reddy community like Jagan. Though, Kiran’s ruling did not make any lasting impression on people, it is also to be noted that there were no major corruption allegations or scams during his period. Kiran Kumar Reddy surprised people of Seemandhra region and shocked Congress high command when he openly defied the decision of state bifurcation. Later he founded Jai Samaikyandhra party, that ended up as a disaster in 2014 elections.

Post elections, there have been rumors that he will be joining BJP and he will be given Rajya Sabha seat. But that couldn’t materialize. If grapevine reports are to be believed, it was huge expectations of Kiran Kumar Reddy that kept BJP away from him. Seems he was asked to join theBJP party unconditionally like Kanna, Purandhareswari and other leaders. Later, there were also rumors that he will join Jana Sena party and he will be no.2 in that party. But there was no confirmation on that from either parties. But lately, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi started analyzing the debacle of Congress party despite giving statehood to Telangana. They seem to have understood that what Kiran Kumar Reddy predicted was true – that Congress will lose in both states if Telangana is granted.

As per inside sources, he is being offered AICC post if he rejoins Congress. We have to wait and see how Kiran’s political career takes a turn.

KCR’s foul language does not suit the stature of CM: Congress

0

TPCC leaders took a serious objection to the comments and foul language used by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao against the opposition party on Wednesday. N Uttam Kumar Reddy and K Jana Reddy held that the impulsive outbursts were unwarranted on Thursday. It may be recalled that KCR used disrespectful language not only against the TPCC leaders but also against former speaker of Lok Sabha Meira Kumar.

The words like “Dandha chese Nakodukulu” do not suit the stature of the Chief Minister. While the TPCC leaders termed it, arrogance linked with frustration, nonetheless KCR’s brashness was uncalled-for. Congress demurred the language and subject of KCR press conference.

Uttam demanded an unconditional apology for his distorted statements against the opposition party. Jana Reddy said that the CM is blaming congress for his failures instead of acting responsibly.

TPCC President clarified that the grand old party is nowhere tagged to the petitions filed against the regularisation of contract employees in SCCL. Congress accused the Chief Minister for shielding his relatives who run the sand mafia in his son KTR’s constituency of Sircilla.

Youth Congress leader who stage-managed firing arrested

0

Police on Thursday arrested Youth Congress leader M. Vikram Goud, who was injured in a firing stage-managed by him here last week.

Police took him into custody after he was discharged from Apollo Hospital, where he was undergoing treatment since July 28.

He was arrested as he came out of the hospital on a wheelchair and shifted to a police vehicle. He was later taken to the Nampally Criminal Court complex to face a magistrate.

Vikram is the son of former Andhra Pradesh minister and Congress leader M. Mukesh Goud.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner M. Mahender Reddy had on Wednesday announced that Vikram was under police surveillance and would be arrested once he was discharged.

Vikram was injured in firing at his house in upscale Banjara Hills on July 28. He had told police that two assailants came on a bike and escaped after firing at him. The police investigation, however, revealed that the attack was stage managed.

The police cracked the case with the arrest of five persons while two accused are absconding.

Vikram, who also produced a few Telugu movies and had investments in various businesses, offered Rs 50 lakh to a gang to shoot him so that he could gain public sympathy in an assembly constituency from where he plans to contest the 2019 election.

He also wanted to use the incident to avoid repaying loans to some businessmen.

Goud, 35, has been booked for abetment to commit crime, criminal conspiracy, causing disappearance of evidence, giving false information to police and for possessing and using illegal firearm.

Congress determined to go ahead with ‘Chalo Sircilla’ protest

0

Amid the high tension in Rajanna Sircilla district, TPCC leaders are firm to reach the venue to protest against the atrocities on Dalits and illegal sand mining in the district.

The party has deployed former Lok Sabha speaker Meira Kumar to lead the meeting. She will be meeting the affected families in Nerella, Ramchandrapuram and Jillela villages.

Meira will be giving away one lakh rupees’ cheque to the victims who faced the third-degree torture by the police. She said, “I stand in solidarity with Dalits, BCs Weaker Sections who were tortured. I demand stringent action against the guilty”. Furthermore she asked, “Why is there this need to emphasize repeatedly, the importance of ‘inclusion’ of dalits, tribals, BCs in the mainstream. It should be a given”

Police have denied permission for the proposed meeting, however, Congress leaders are hopeful that the High Court will give a go-ahead for the remonstration. The district police invoked Section 30 of Police Act in the textile town and held that it would be in force from Sunday to August 28.

TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy said that Telangana is not “Jagir” of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s family. He said that denying permission shows the government’s move to suppress voice of Dalits, BCs and other weaker sections in Telangana. Uttam said that Congress is fighting for social justice for Dalits. He accused KCR’s relatives hand in the sand mafia. He aforesaid, “KTR must also answer whether or not, Goldmine Mineral Company belongs to KCR’s close relative Santosh Rao?”

Congress leaders alleged that the TRS government is suppressing the democratic rights of people.

Congress questions Venkaiah Naidu about alleged irregularities

0

The Congress on Wednesday sought replies from NDA’s Vice Presidential candidate M. Venkaiah Naidu on the exemption given to his daughter’s NGO from paying various developmental charges amounting to Rs 2.46 crore to Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority.

Other questions pertain to the supply of vehicles by Harsha Toyota (owned by Naidu’s son Harshvardhan Naidu) to the Telangana government without any tender and that the former Union minister had allegedly secured 4.95 acres of land in Andhra Pradesh reserved for the poor and the destitute.

The party, questioning probity in public life as accountability and transparency, asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah to come forward and reply in the context of the “repeated rhetoric of zero tolerance for corruption and wrongdoing”.

“At least 48 hours have passed without any reply from either of them. As always, the Prime Minister and BJP President have chosen to keep mum,” Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala said in a statement.

“Replies given by the BJP’s Vice Presidential nominee as also in his defence by the TRS government of Telangana have left more questions than answers,” he added.

Asking a few questions of Naidu, the Congress said: “The Telangana government and Naidu have admitted that the ‘Swarna Bharat Trust’ of his daughter Deepa Venkat was given exemption from paying developmental charges amounting to Rs 2,46,00,000 to Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority.”

“Naidu has sought to justify this unilateral waiver by saying that 16 more trusts were given exemption,” the party said.

“What the Telangana government and Naidu did not tell, as to why similar exemption was not granted to hundreds of other NGOs by the government? What was the criteria for grant of exemption in payment of government charges of Rs 2.46 crore to her NGO in absence of any policy or rationale?” Surjewala asked in a statement.

“Is it not a fact that the ‘Swarna Bharat Trust’ has been issued a notice under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010. Is it fair to grant exemption in payment of ‘public charges’ to a trust that is facing FCRA proceedings?,” he added.

Surjewala said: “As regards supply of vehicles by Harsha Toyota to Telangana government without any tender, the state government has accepted that 350 Toyota vehicles were purchased directly from Harsha Toyota.”

“Interestingly, as per the government, the 350 vehicles purchased from Harsha Toyota were supposedly purchased under DGS&D rates, while the next lot of 350 vehicles were purchased through tender in which another dealer i.e. ‘Radha Krishna Motors’ became a successful tenderer.”

“Why were both the lots of vehicles not purchased through tender in the first instance? Was the conditionality of tender violated in the purchase of first lot of vehicles from ‘Harsha Toyota’? What is the price at which the two lots of vehicles i.e. the first lot supplied by ‘Harsha Toyota’ and second lot supplied by ‘Radha Krishna Motors’ were purchased?

“Was the price of vehicles purchased from ‘Harsha Toyota’ higher than the vehicles purchased through tender from ‘Radha Krishna Motors’?” he added.

The party also said: “Naidu has admitted that he was the National BJP President and consequently the chairman of ‘Kushabhau Thakre Memorial Trust’, which was allocated 20 acres of land in Bhopal valued at a few hundred crores.

“Is it not a fact that the Supreme Court quashed the allocation of land,” it asked.

“Naidu has not denied that he had secured 4.95 acres of land in Andhra Pradesh reserved for the poor and the destitute. Is it not a fact that he was forced to return the land as the same was illegally allocated to him? Does it absolve him of his culpability?” asked Surjewala.

Congress targets VP candidate Venkaiah for deals favouring his kin

0

Congress is doing its best to ensure NDA Vice presidential candidate Venakiah’s name continues to surface for all wrong reasons. Congress leader Jai Ram Ramesh accused the Telangana government for purchasing police vehicles from Venakaiah’s son owned Harsha Toyota and KCR son’s owned Himanshu Toyota without following the due procedure of bidding.

It may be recalled that in order to improve the brand image of Telangana police, the state government procured Innova vehicles in 2014. Congress accused that without following the due process of inviting bids, TS ordered police vehicles worth Rs. 270 crore.

Congress also claimed that in Madhya Pradesh Government allotted 20 acres in Bhopal at throwaway prices to a Trust owned by Venakiah. Ramesh accused that as an act of favouritism by BJP government, the land classified as “residential and forestry” was given permission to operate for “commercial” reasons without full disclosure.

Two days after reports surfaced that, Swarna Bharat Trust was given an exemption of 2 crore rupees secretly by HMDA, another accusation from the past again Venkaiah purposefully surfaced.

Venkaiah said that these allegations were baseless and the car dealership issue has been sorted in Court. He held that that other trusts also got such exemptions from the government. Former Union minister stated that it is preposterous on part of Congress to stoop to such level in view of the Vice Presidential elections.

Uttam flays Sircilla MLA KTR’s silence over torture of Dalits

0

TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy on Monday said that they will be staging a protest on 31July in Rajanna-Sircilla condemning the atrocities against Dalits and Backward Castes by the Telangana Police officials. He said that there is no place for human rights in the TRS government’s rule.

Speaking at meeting in Gandhi Bhavan, he said that the Sircilla incident is a disgrace to the society. He accused KTR’s relative’s involvement in the sand mafia and said that the Sircilla police are behaving at their will. He questioned that if the government has no involvement, why has it not yet taken any action against the police officers yet.

It may be noted that a 60-year-old Bhumaiah, was killed in an accident by a speeding lorry at Ramachandrapuram in Thangallapalli mandal. As many as 4people were reportedly killed in just one month by the lorries carrying sand due to rash driving. The death of Bhumaiah a native of Narella and an ST(Errukala) on 2July added fuel to the fire. A large number of villagers congregated and set ablaze the lorry carrying sand illegally. During the remonstration, police personnel who wanted to pacify the protestors were reportedly injured.

Two days after the incident on the night of 4July, police detained eight accused who participated in the incident. The accused Penta Banaiah, Gandham Gopal, Chepyala Bala Raju, Kola Harish, Pasula Eshwar Kumar, Cheekoti Srinivas, Korukanti Ganesh and Bathula Mahesh belonged to Nerella, Jillela and Ramachandrapur villages. Police officials not only registered three false cases under IPC 307 against the victims, but also allegedly shifted them to a secret location and beat them black and blue. The victims reportedly underwent a third-degree torture for five days.

The opposition party Congress alleged that the victims were tortured so dreadfully that even the Jailor refused to admit them, instead referred them to the hospital. BJP and TPCC said that Rajanna-Sircilla SP Vishwajit Kampati threatened the victims not to testify before the magistrate. In case otherwise he terrorized them that they would register brothel and ganja smuggling cases against the women in their households.

As per the opposition party leader, both the villages are panic struck and there is a “fear of life and liberty”. Uttam tweeted that “the youth between 18 to 40 years have not returned to village till date due to fear of police – their torture & implication in false cases.”

BJP and Congress have been asking that the State government to suspend SP Vishwajit, CCS sub-inspector B Ravinder and 18 other police constables. Uttam demanded that cases against the victims be withdrawn and cases be filed under Section 307, SC/ST Atrocities Prevention Act and other relevant sections against the police. He also necessitated the State Government to order a probe into the incident through a sitting judge of High Court.

The DGP allegedly failed to respond to the complaint lodge, so they have approached the State Human Rights Commission.
The local MLA K T Rama Rao who represents Sircilla neither visited the village nor responded on the incident. Reportedly, the MPs and TRS Dalit legislators did not make it react either.

Uttam Kumar has penned an open letter to Chief Minister K Chandra shekar Rao demanding action.

Manchu Lakshmi defends KTR, sparks outrage

0

Tollywood actor Manchu Lakshmi defended Telangana Minister K T Rama Rao’s tweets made against Digvijay Singh. This did not go well with Congress leaders who criticised Lakshmi for her tweet. It may be recalled that Digvijay alleged that influential friends of TRS heir were involved in drug racket. KTR came down heavily on the Congress leader and tweeted, “you complete lost it sir” and advised him to retire from politics. Lakshmi tweeted that “Say it like it is Ram. He’s lost it a long time ago…”
Congress leaders reportedly spoke to her father Mohan Babu. Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy allegedly spoke to Mohan Babu over phone and conveyed the displeasure. He reportedly questioned the need for her to interfere in politics. Tollywood actor and former politician Mohan Babu allegedly said that Lakshmi should have avoided defending KTR.

Friends of TRS leader involved in drug racket: Digvijaya

0

Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on Thursday alleged that friends of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader K.T. Rama Rao are involved in drug racket busted in Hyderabad.

Without naming Rama Rao, the Congress General Secretary, who is in charge of the party affairs in Telangana, tweeted that influential friends of TRS heir apparent were involved.

“Huge drug scam in Telangana. Influential friends of TRS heir apparent involved. Let’s see if they would be saved or prosecuted. Let’s see,” Singh tweeted.

Rama Rao, a cabinet Minister and son of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, hit back at the Congress leader.

“You’ve completely lost it sir. Time to retire gracefully and do something worth your age. Glad that you’ve finally learnt to spell ‘Telangana’,” tweeted Rama Rao.

A drug racket was busted in Hyderabad earlier in July. The Prohibition and Excise Department of Telangana arrested 13 drug peddlers, who were selling drugs to students of several schools and colleges in the city.

The authorities are currently probing the alleged involvement of some personalities of Telugu film industry in the drug racket.

In May, Digvijaya Singh had made an allegation that the Telangana Police set up a bogus Islamic State site to trap Muslim youth.

Terming his allegation “irresponsible”, Rama Rao had asked him to withdraw the claim or face legal action.

The Congress leader, however, said he stood by his statement.

Gandhi not only assured support but also said that the subject would be raised in the monsoon session of the Parliament. He was of the view that the project should be shifted to an empty land near sea shore to reduce the impact.

It may be noted that the TDP government is going about with an industrial zone GMAFP to be setup by Anand group. Residents of Tundurru and surrounding villages have been agitating for the past three years against the park as it would cause large scale displacement and pollutes the environment. The ruling party has remained indifferent to the angsts of people.

The people of the village are ready to take the support from anyone who will fight along with them to defer the project. According to the reports in The Hindu, offices of Minister Pitani Satyanarayana and actor Pawan Kalyan gave a call to the farmers the later in the day yesterday, for a quick decision.

Five parties to contest in Nandyal by-poll

Times change and they dynamics of politicians with time. In 2014, with the help of Telugu Desham Party(TDP) and YSR Congress Party(YSRCP) won the Allagadda By-Poll unanimously post the demise of Bhuma Shoba Nagi Reddy.

However, after the death of Bhuma Nagi Reddy, the political equations in Nandyal are undergoing a drastic change. While the ruling and opposition parties have already announced their candidates, Jana Sena Party (JSP) and Rayalaseema Parirakshana Samithi(RPS) are also fielding candidates in the by-election. Congress also joined the race and will be announcing its candidate in a couple of days.

The number of political parties who want to participate in the by-elections is only increasing.
Congress leader Rakesh Reddy who lost in 2014 elections in the same constituency is a potential candidate. Gokul Krishna Reddy nephew of Former minister Gangula Pratap Reddy is also eyeing the seat.

If reports are to be believed, Pawan Kalyan is discussing JSP’s strategy for the by-election. The party is allegedly pondering to field in an already popular candidate.

RPS president Byreddy Rajasekhara Reddy called the Nandyal-by poll as a battle between power of money and self-respect of Rayalaseema. RPS will be announcing its candidate in a week.

With five parties fielding candidates, the by-poll is not going to be cake walk for either Chandrababu and Jagan, as the vote bank will be divided. The by-poll is very crucial for both TDP and YSRCP who are the full-sized parties in the state. Despite independents contesting, these five political parties and their potential candidates are going to sway the electorate. The ruling and opposition parties are considering the by-elections as a significant step for the 2019 assembly elections.

PM should get firm US assurance on H1B visa issue: Congress

0

The Congress on Thursday said during his visit to the US, Prime Minister Narendra Modi should “demand and obtain credible and firm assurances from President Donald Trump that he will reverse his decision on granting H1B visa to Indian professionals”.

The party also demanded that the Prime Minister should respond and register protest over “disparaging obseravations” made by the US President about India while walking out of the Paris Agreement on climate change.

“Prime Minister will be travelling to the US. He should demand and obtain credible and firm assurances from US President Donald Trump that he will reverse his decision which discriminates against the Indian professionals for grant of H1B visa,” said Congress spokesperson Anand Sharma.

“There has been a drop of 37 per cent, whereas the Indian professionals constitute less than 0.06 per cent of the American workforce. We do not want mere statements and photographs,” he added.

“We want answers and also how the Prime Minister responds and registers our protest over the disparaging observations made about the Republic of India recently when the US decided to walk out of the Paris Agreement. We will wait for the PM’s response or reaction.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will for the first time meet President Donald Trump on June 26 at the White House.

Trump’s recent withdrawal from the Paris Agreement on fighting climate change created fissures in the India-US ties, especially with Trump commenting that India signed the pact only because it expected “billions and billions” in aid.

BJP, opposition hold parleys on Presidential election

The ruling and the opposition parties on Wednesday got going on the presidential election with the three-member BJP committee poised to meet Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Friday in a bid to evolve a consensus on the nominee.

On the other side, opposition leaders held preliminary discussions on the issue but decided to meet again for detailed parleys after government makes public its choice of candidate.

The BJP core committee met on Wednesday morning in the presence of party President Amit Shah, where senior ministers Rajnath Singh and M. Venkaiah Naidu, who form part of the three-member group were also present. Later, Singh and Naidu met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed the strategy.

Later it was disclosed that the three-member team, which includes Arun Jaitley, will meet Sonia Gandhi probably with the name the ruling side would like to field as part of efforts to build a consensus. It was not clear whether Jaitley, who is currently in South Korea, will be back in the capital in time for the meeting.

The team will later meet CPI-M General Secretary Sitaram Yechury. Naidu spoke to BSP leader Satish Chandra Mishra and NCP leader Praful Patel over phone. He was told that the two parties will firm up their stand only after the BJP panel meets them formally.

Among the names doing the rounds as possible NDA candidate are Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik. There is talk in the BJP circles that the RSS could pitch for another veteran Murli Manohar Joshi. A surprise could be in the form of Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu, a tribal from Odisha.

With an edge in the electoral college, the BJP is said to be of the opinion that it should have its own candidate who has an ideological background since it is the party in power. Naidu indicated as much on Tuesday when he said that opposition should keep in mind the spirit of democracy that the BJP has the mandate of the people.

Meanwhile, BJP’s oldest ally Shiv Sena on Wednesday yet again made it clear that its “first choice” for NDA’s presidential candidate is RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

Sena MP Sanjay Raut said: “Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat is the most deserving person to be the President of India. Will they (BJP) speak to us regarding this? If you think he is not the deserving candidate, tell us why he is not the suitable candidate.

“You give us another name, but for us Mohan Bhagwat saheb is the first choice for NDA’s presidential candidate.”

The Sena has been demanding that RSS chief should be nominated as the NDA’s presidentail candidate, even though Bhagwat has said that he is not in the race.

The Sena has not voted with the BJP in the last two presidential elections. A candidate from Maharashtra like Naik or Bhagwat or even Mahajan, a Marathi who represents Indore in Madhya Pradesh, could ensure its support to the NDA candidate. Likewise, the candidature of Murmu could bring Odisha’s ruling BJD to the government side in the presidential election though the two parties are bitter rivals in the state.

Leaders of nine opposition parties, who form a sub-group, met in parliament house in the chamber of the Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad, who told reporters later that no names were discussed in their meeting.

“It was a preliminary meeting. No nitty gritty nor names were discussed. All parties are totally united,” he said.

Azad said even as the opposition leaders were meeting, it has been disclosed that the three-member team constituted by BJP to hold discussion with opposition parties for a consensus will meet opposition leaders including Gandhi.

“No finalisation of name is possible,” he said adding the sub group of the opposition parties will meet in the next few days and discuss in detail by when the government would have also discussed with the opposition parties its choice.

Azad said the future discussion among the opposition parties will depend on the candidate the ruling side choose and the party he belongs to.

“Then only we can have substantial discussions,” he said.

Rashtriya Janata Dal Chief Lalu Prasad told the media that they would “remove” BJP.

Among those who attended the meeting in Azad’s chamber were Yechury, Sharad Yadav, (JD-U), Patel, Ram Gopal Yadav (SP), Mishra, Mallikarjun Kharge (Congress), Derek O’Brien (Trinamool Congress), and R.S. Bharti (DMK).
