Ashok Galla, another gem from the Superstar Krishna’s clan has made a dashing debut in the industry. The actor’s film Hero was released in theatres this Sankranthi on January 15, 2022 and is all set to premiere on Disney + Hotstar on February 11. Adding Nidhhi Agerwal’s lovely screen presence the film is a treat to watch.

The film has garnered a lot of love and attention from the audience and is now ready to set the OTT stage on fire with its goofy plot.

Ahead of the premier, the Superstar Mahesh Babu has extended his support to his nephew, Ashok. Speaking about Ashok, Mahesh has expressed how proud he is of Ashok’s work and how he has come out with flying colours.

Ashok Galla’s grandfather, the legendary actor Krishna had also paid a visit to the sets during the film’s shooting at the director Sriram Aditya’s request. The musician Ghibran has weaved his magic around with his soulful music.

Apart from Ashok Galla and Nidhhi Agerwal, the film’s starcast includes famous actors like Jagapathi Babu, Vennela Kishore, Naresh, Brahmaji, Satya, Ravi Kishan, Mime Gopi, and Kota Srinivasa Rao in crucial roles in the film. The film is a product of the production house Amara Raja Media and Entertainment.

Interestingly, Nidhhi was the center of attraction at Hero’s promotional event. At the event, when Koratala Siva, Sudheer Babu, Anil Ravipudi, and Jagapthi Babu picked Nidhhi’s name, there was a rousing reception from the common public. Related videos are now going viral.

Speaking at the event, senior actor Naresh said if he has another birth he would like to be born as Nidhhi after seeing the craze she is enjoying. Jagapathi Babu said he is amazed by the craze Niddhi is enjoying and said he would like to share the screen with her as a hero if that is possible.

Nidhhi is now making a lot of noise after delivering a glamorous performance in Hero.

Sankranthi films Pre-Release business

There are four films releasing for this Sankranti namely Bangarraju, Rowdy Boys, Hero & Super Machi. Out of these four, both Bangarraju & Rowdy Boys are getting very good release as one is the sequel of a blockbuster film , a very good star cast and the other as it is backed by producer Dil Raju. Hero & Super Machi are getting a limited release.

Bangarraju is sold all over to the distributors except for Nizam & UA while huge advances have been collected for Rowdy Boys in Andhra. It is 6 Cr ratio in Andhra. Nizam is an own release by Dil Raju.

Hero is an own release by the producers . The film is made in a budget of 12 Cr and that amount should be recovered by theatricals and other ancillaries. Super Machi is an own release all over

AP Government grants 100 percent Occupancy for Sankranthi

The government of Andhra Pradesh announced to restrict the theatre occupancy to 50 percent and impose night curfews considering the rise in the new cases of Covid-19. The GO is issued last night and these rules will be applicable from January 18th across the state. The theatres can now operate with 100 percent occupancy till January 17th and the night curfew too will be applicable from January 18th. This is a boost for Sankranthi releases like Bangarraju, Rowdy Boys, Super Machi and Hero which are hitting the screens this weekend.

The AP government offered temporary relief for the theatres and the Sankranthi releases finally. The revised GO has been issued last night. Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya’s Bangarraju is the only biggie releasing during the holiday season. Ashish is making his debut with Rowdy Boys and Ashok Galla is making his debut with Hero. Both these films are made on big budgets. Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Kalyaan Dhev is testing his luck with Super Machi. The advance sales for all these films are opened recently.

“I did a couple of films as Child artist in Krishna gari movies. I also acted in Mahesh Babu’s Nani. I have been telling Mahesh Babu for a long time that I am interested in acting. But when I started taking classes, he realized I am serious,” Ashok said.

However, Mahesh did not give him any tips. “He did not give any tips but only told me how to behave in the industry and how to be brave. Krishna garu means Daring and Dashing. Mahesh is known for his Humor, Talent, Intelligence, and Sharpness. I learned the same from both of them,” Ashok added.

From the past one week, there are wide speculations that Vijay Devarakonda’s next film Hero has been put on hold. Vijay Devarakonda is not happy with the output of the first schedule. Hero is a sports drama and Vijay Devarakonda plays a bike racer in the film. Anand Annamalai is the director and the first schedule costed the makers Rs 6 crores.

After this, the makers are left puzzled about the project. Going into the details, the makers and Vijay Devarakonda are left in doubt if Anand can handle the project efficiently. Vijay Devarakonda even asked the team to rework on the script and if they are completely impressed, Hero will head for shoot from September. If the team feels that Anand can handle the project, he would continue as the director of Hero.

Else, the makers are in plans to replace him with one more director. If Vijay Devarakonda fails to get convinced with the script, the film will be shelved. Vijay Devarakonda promised one more film for Mythri Movie Makers if this happens. Young actor Vijay Devarakonda wrapped up the shoot of Dear Comrade for Mythri Movie Makers. His next film with the same production house got launched today with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad.
