Tollywood hunk Rana Daggubati has several projects lined up. He is also overlooking the scripts for his production house Suresh Productions and finalized web series and web-based movies in the recent months. Rana Daggubati has been in talks for Hiranyakashyapa, a big-budget mythological drama that is planned to commence shoot this year. With the arrival of coronavirus, the shoot of Hiranyakashyapa is pushed to next year.

Going with the latest update, Rana decided to commence the shoot of the film only in 2022 and he would wrap up other commitments in 2021. Rana wants to analyze the market and he wants the normalcy to return back as Hiranyakashyapa needs to be made on lavish standards with hundreds of crew members and massive sets erected. Rana will release Aranya and Viraata Parvam next year. Gunasekhar moved on to his next film and will complete one more project before he returns back to Hiranyakashyapa.

Suresh Productions in association with Fox Star Studios will produce Hiranyakashyapa. Several Hollywood technicians will work for this film which will be high on VFX and will be made on a budget close to Rs 200 crores.

It has been five years since the last film of Gunasekhar titled Rudhramadevi released. He has been working on his next film Hiranyakashyapa and the film is planned on a big-budget. Gunasekhar and his team are involved in an extensive pre-production work which started two years ago. The entire pre-production work of this mythological drama got completed recently. Several Hollywood studios are working on the VFX work of the film. Rana and his father Suresh Babu are personally monitoring these works.

Rana plays the demon god Hiranyakashyapa in the film and the makers are in plans to make an interesting announcement this evening. The film is planned on a budget close to Rs 200 crores. Suresh Productions in association with a Hollywood studio will produce Hiranyakashyapa and the makers may reveal the details of the lead actors and technicians soon. Rana will commence the shoot of Hiranyakashyapa next year.

With the coronavirus outbreak, the equations of several films changed. The makers issued a clarification about the same that the project is very much on. Gunasekhar and Rana Daggubati are working on the pre-production work for over two years. The entire pre-production work is wrapped up and the regular shoot will start once Rana completes his current commitments. Suresh Babu will announce the further details officially very soon. Talented filmmaker Gunasekhar wrapped up the pre-production work and is waiting for the arrival of Rana Daggubati to start his dream project Hiranyakashyapa. This trilingual mythological drama is planned on a massive budget of Rs 200 crores and is expected to roll early next year. Over 17 VFX studios are working on the special effects and Gunasekhar is monitoring the works personally. With Rana losing enough weight and facing health issues, things changed drastically. There are speculations that Rana Daggubati may not play the role of demon king Hiranyakashyapa in the film.

Rana turned lean and he needs to beef up to fit well in the role of Hiranyakashyapa. Wrapping up his commitments and gaining enough weight takes a year for sure. Gunasekhar already has been kept in waiting mode and he is idle from the past two years. Hence, Rana decided to walk out of the project and he asked Gunasekhar to search for other options. The discussions about this are currently on and Gunasekhar, Suresh Babu will finalize things at the earliest.

Rana Daggubati will start shooting for Venu Udugula’s Virata Parvam after which he will finalize his next project.

Rana Daggubati is the first consideration when it comes to mighty roles as the actor’s screen presence and destructive performance can win the hearts of the audience. Talented director Gunasekhar has been working on the script of Hiranyakashyapa from the past couple of years and veteran filmmaker, Rana’s father Suresh Babu has come on to the board to produce this mythological drama. The estimated budget of Hiranyakashyapa is said to be Rs 180 crores and Suresh Babu is in plans to make the film in all the Indian languages.

The art work of the movie started recently and Rana, Suresh Babu are working with Gunasekhar currently. Mukesh Singh, a top artist of the country has been roped in to sketch places like Vaikuntam and Indralokam along with the Narasimha avatar. Massive sets will be erected for Hiranyakashyapa and the regular shoot may commence during the end of this year. Rana has his hands full and is busy wrapping up his commitments.
