TDP MP complains to Amit Shah against AP CID IG

1

TDP MP K Ram Mohan Naidu on Thursday complained to Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi against AP CID IG Sanjay. He also submitted a couple of letters to Shah explaining how the CID had arrested TPD chief N Chandrababu Naidu and sent him to jail.

Ram Mohan Naidu, the young leader from the AP TDP, wrote a letter to the union home minister in Delhi after a long time. He sent several documents relating to the case and the charges framed against Chandrababu Naidu. He explained to the union home minister about the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu by the APCID. He also explained how Naidu was arrested though his name was not figured in the FIR filed some two years ago.

The TDP MP also alleged that Sanjay had been working as the ruling YSR Congress leader and not as an officer. He said that the investigating officer was also holding press conferences all over the country and revealing the investigation result.

The MP requested the union home minister to look into the issue and take necessary steps to set the officer on his lines. He said that the official was spreading false news that caused damage to the image and prestige of Chandrababu Naidu.

The CID chief who is expected to work as per the law without political intervention is working as a political activist, the TDP MP said. He also submitted some newspaper clippings and the news channels clippings to the union home minister to justify his complaint against the CID chief.

Chandrababu jailed on trumped-up charges, says Ram Mohan Naidu

0

Recalling how great ISRO scientist, Nambi Narayan, was jailed in a fake espionage case, Srikakulam MP and TDP leader, Kinjerapu Ram Mohan Naidu, on Thursday told the Lok Sabha that a chain of such events are unfolding in Andhra Pradesh too.

Regretting that the corrupt persons are putting the honest and sincere persons in jail, Ram Mohan Naidu said that former chief minister and TDP supremo, Chandrababu Naidu, has worked relentlessly for 45 years for the progress of the State.

Stating that Chandrababu has an unblemished career and has been jailed on trumped-up charges, the TDP MP said that this is nothing but an obvious case of regime, revenge and litigation.

“On the other hand a leader surrounded by sycophants is celebrating 10th anniversary on September 23 for being on bail and was jailed for looting the country of Rs 43,000 cr,” Ram Mohan Naidu said. He felt an immediate need to correct the system.

Thousands of those who benefited from his vision have come out onto the roads not only in Andhra Pradesh but also in Hyderabad, other parts of the country and across the globe to show their concern on the arrest of their leader, he mentioned.

When honesty is being jailed what inspiration young leaders like him will get, he asked. Ram Mohan Naidu appealed to the Lok Sabha to raise their voice to unitedly condemn the injustice being unfolded in Andhra Pradesh.

Convert debt into equity to save Visakha steel, MP tells govt

1

TDP MP from Srikakulam, K Ram Mohan Naidu on Wednesday told the Union government to convert the debt burden into equity to save the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.

The MP raised the question in Lok Sabha on the first day of the winter session and asked the Central government to save the steel plant.

The government informed the member that the debt servicing and interest payments of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant have increased from Rs 2285 crore in 2019-20 to Rs 2895 crore in 2021-22. The government further said that the weighted average interest rate of the loans increased from 8.31 per cent in 2019-20 to 8.34 per cent in 2021-22.

The MP said that the high interest burden borne by the steel plant had undermined the profitability of the prestigious unit. He wanted the Central government to convert it into equity and save the steel plant instead of selling it.

He reminded the Central government had converted the debt into equity in 2000-2001 by then Prime Minister A B Vajpayee on the request of then chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. The TDP MP wanted the Union government to follow suit to save the steel plant.

The MP also asked the Union government to allocate captive mines for the steel plant as it was now purchasing coal in the open competition. The market price had increased from Rs 3867.84 crore in 2019-20 to Rs 7213.17 crore in 2021-22. Similarly, the open market price of coal had increased from Rs 6521.30 crore in 2019-20 to Rs 9051.13 crore in 2021-22.

Further, this is reflected in the fact that Cost of raw materials as a percentage of total expenditure increased from 57.23 per cent in 2019-20 to 63.76 per cent in 2021-22. Hence, allocation of captive mines to the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.

TDP MP complains to Speaker against Madhav

0

TDP MP, Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, had complained to Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla against YSR Congress MP, Gorantla Madhav, who was caught having nude video call with a woman. The MP said that the state government was not taking action against the MP, who, by his act, had lowered the image of the state and the Parliament too.

He discounted the justification made by government advisor and YSR Congress general secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, who said that they would take action only if the video call is proved genuine. He also said that Sajjala, without taking action against the MP, was asking the TDP about the fake video in note for vote case.

The MP said that the YSR Congress was trying to save its MP by raising the note for vote issue. He also said that the YSR Congress leadership is worried about taking action against Madhav as it would force the party to take similar action against half of the party leaders. “At least half of the YSR Congress leaders do what Madhav had done in the video call,” the TDP MP said.

Ram Mohan Naidu said that it was a shame on the part of the MP to shift the blame on the TDP. He wondered why any TDP leader recorded that nude video call of the MP. He also alleged that the MP and the YSR Congress Party were trying to politicise the issue and save their skin.

The TDP MP said that the women have no respect in Andhra Pradesh with the YSR Congress leaders acting like Gorantla Madhav. “It was unbecoming of an MP. He brought shame on us and the Parliament too,” Ram Mohan Naidu said.

The TDP MP wanted the Lok Sabha speaker to take action against the MP for his nude video call to a woman. He also wanted the speaker to take stringent action against the MP to ensure that no MP would do such a heinous act in future.
